Meghan Markle Breaks Tradition In New Post

Our favorite royal rule breaker is back. However, this time, royal watchers can stand down as the rule she broke has absolutely nothing to do with the institution she stepped down from years ago.

Meghan has always had a knack for doing things a bit differently from the norm – like, you’re thinking of fun activities to do with your kids while they’re younger and Meghan is leaving hers little emails to enjoy when they grow older. I guess, like the rest of us, the Duchess has her own personal preferences, which might appear odd to some of us.

The latest odd thing that fans are just noticing about heris the way she chooses to arrange her royal rings.

Meghan Markle Prefers A Different Arrangement To Her Wedding Band Than Most

I think the Duchess of Sussex has a particular unique way of doing things, and this may ruffle some feathers from time to time.

Remember the uproar that arose because she decided to alter the big old engagement ring Prince Harry got her prior to their 2018 wedding? It belonged to Harry’s mother’s too.

However, her latest rule breaking is a bit less permanent than altering a ring. Her preferred method of arranging her rings came to light after she shared a new post promoting her lifestyle brand, As Ever.

She captioned the post “Simplici-tea,” and while the Duchess was pictured spooning a dried mixture into a loose-leaf tea bag, it was her hand that immediately drew the scrutiny of fans.

Fans noticed that she had chosen to wear the three rings she got from Harry in a non-traditional arrangement.

The Instagram post clearly showed Meghan spotting her three-stone engagement ring first, her eternity band before rounding up the trio with her Welsh gold wedding band.

This arrangement breaks with tradition, which typically sees the wedding band placed on the finger first.

Ann Grimmet, Vice President of Merchandising at Jared Jewelers, explained: “Traditionally, the wedding band is worn closest to the heart, meaning it’s placed on the finger first, followed by the engagement ring. However, like so many aspects of weddings today, it’s really about personal preference.”
