Meghan Markle Anxious About Prince Harry’s Attempts to Reconcile With His Family

The so-called royal peace summit has truly opened the flood gates of royal speculations. As more days pass by, I am starting to see that a huge chunk of the fence is leaning towards the idea that 2025 might be the year that the royal rift is put to rest.

But if this wholesome thing does happen, where does that leave Meghan Markle? I don’t know if you recall, but Prince William did call her “rude” and “abrasive,” so she’s unsurprisingly not okay with Harry wanting his “brother back.”

Meghan Markle Reportedly Hopes Prince Harry’s Reconciliation With Royal Family Doesn’t Come With A Divorce Tag

From the onset, Meghan Markle has been said to be on the fence when it comes to Harry’s wishes to get back on the good side with his family.

Prior to the whole peace summit, a source close to the couple had claimed that Harry’s desire for reconciliation is driving a wedge between him and Meghan big enough that it may well end in divorce.

As if that was not enough, we’re now hearing that Meghan fears the Royal Family may manipulate Prince Harry into becoming at odds with her. “She’s clinging to the hope that this doesn’t backfire and end with them manipulating him to turn on her,” an insider told RadarOnline.

Even if this is the case and she truly believes that the Royal Family is capable of turning Harry against her, she doesn’t want to be completely left out of the peace talks either.

In 2021, she told Oprah that she wasn’t invited to be in the room to discuss matters relating to their exit, so I guess she isn’t going to stand and allow history to repeat itself.

However, Harry is wary about letting her take the lead for the talks due to her “confrontational” nature. “Harry’s stepped up to handle the talks himself, partly because he knows Meghan, despite his love for her, can be perceived as confrontational,” the source said.

“With old wounds still fresh, Meghan’s anxiety centers on whether history might repeat itself – and whether her partnership may once again be deemed expendable in service of royal repair,” the source concluded.
