The Latest Arrest Comes After Baby Died

Recently, Leida Margaretha and her husband, Eric, claimed that their newborn of five weeks had passed away. According to Leida, the infant passed away due to swelling on the brain. Many people suspected that she was trying to blame Eric for hurting the child.

Meanwhile, Eric had been arrested on charges of domestic violence the day before the child was hospitalized. He did not deny hitting Leida but denied harming his child. Now, Starcasm reported that Leida has also been arrested. Tied to suspected bail-jumping, some people believe she might have been trying to flee the USA to return to Indonesia.

According to Starcasm’s report, Leida applied for a passport so she could take her son back to Indonesia. Additionally, information via blogger John Yates suggested that she wanted to reverse a restraining order against her husband, Eric. Unnamed sources allege that she wanted Eric to go with her for a fresh start. However, it’s not clear if the source is correct.

Court documents show that while the baby’s death is being investigated, (which could be coincidental), a motion was filed to prevent Leida from leaving the country. However, it still requires a judge’s signature. In the meantime, some TLC fans wonder if she tried self-deporting. They also noticed her makeover where she looked quite different.

While they have called for deportation in the past, they don’t want her self-deporting and prefer to see her serve time behind bars in the USA.
