Karine Martins, formerly on 90 Day Fiancé, is back in the news. This time, it could be the end of her fight to stay in the U.S. According to a post on social media, Paul Staehle’s ex had her green card revoked by U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS).
What Happened?
@90dayfianceupdate revealed the news that Karine got her green card revoked. However, the post on Instagram came with copies of a document, which indicated it was in response to a 2021 application. Nevertheless, these things can take a long time to happen.

The post cited a response from USCIS which said, “After a thorough review of your petition and the record of evidence, we are denying your petition.” The reality TV alum had been living in the United States on a 2-year conditional visa tied to her marriage to Paul Staehle. Now, her ability to stay in the U.S. appears to be in serious jeopardy.
Unsurprising News?
For long-time followers of Karine’s saga, the news isn’t entirely surprising. Earlier this year, she launched a GoFundMe campaign claiming she was in fear of deportation. At the time, we reported that Karine shared that she was desperate for help and asked fans for support. Her desperate situation sparked diverse responses. Some folks were concerned, but others called her out for past controversies.
Karine’s current relationship status seems to be far removed from her legal husband. Paul is in Brazil, and she met and had a baby with a new guy named Mike stateside. The caption also mentioned, “We just revealed the first family pic of Karine, Mike and her new daughter.”

It seems like a train wreck because her immigration status is linked to her marriage to Paul, not her current partner.
Fans React To The News
TLC fans reacted quickly because Karine Martins and Paul Staehle have always been controversial characters. One follower commented, “She should have filed for divorce, self-deported and reapplied with her new partner. Now with a revocation it will be more difficult to stay.”
Meanwhile, another one said, “Can’t have a baby for another man and expect to still get a green card off your husband.”
However, many people felt that enough was enough, and a critic wrote, “Well deserved, it’s time to return to your home, she’s had charges against her, she’s had her children taken away from her, she needs to be removed from the US.”
Leaving The USA?
It’s not yet confirmed whether Karine plans to fight the revocation or whether she will leave the U.S. voluntarily. But given her prior appeals for help and her complex personal history, more developments are likely.
At one point, it seemed like Karine was getting back on her feet. In a previous report, we noted that her baby daddy, Mike, appeared to be stepping up with support as she faced financial hurdles. Now, those plans might need to shift to supporting her in Brazil.
Karine hasn’t yet spoken out about the alleged green card decision directly on her own social media platforms. Until she does, fans will have to wait and see what happens. Possibly, it’s her final countdown to departure.
