Hilaria Baldwin Sparks Outrage on DWTS Over ‘Hispanic’ Accent

Fans are really not in the mood to entertain a certain newly minted reality TV star changing accents with the weather. Hilaria Baldwin may have narrowly escaped elimination on ‘Dancing With the Stars,’ but no such luck followed her in the case of controversies.

In fact, Hilaria is currently trapped in some big controversies as to make one want to hang up their dancing shoes. But not Hilaria; the star is in it to win it, even if it means bashing on some fellow contestants and questioning the credibility of the judges.

Fans Call Out Hilaria Baldwin For Using A Fake Accent During A DWTS Post-Show Interview

Hilaria Baldwin, 41, is taking the dancing world by storm, as she and her partner Gleb Savchenko survives another round of elimination.

However, she’s not doing so hot when it comes to faking Spanish accents.

During her chat with ABC, Hilaria reflected on her time in the show so far and what it’s been like to move to Los Angeles with her kids in order to appear on the competition series. As she talked on these points, she seemingly slipped back to the Spanish accent that was deemed a fake back in 2020.

A clip from the interview gained some notoriety when it surfaced on Instagram, as it showed the TV personality slipping back and forth between accents.

“Why the accent is my only question,” an Instagram user asked.

“The accent, Please stop, She is from Massachusetts,” another wrote.

“Still trying to sound hispanic@ Stop it already,” a third commenter seemingly pleaded.

The fans on TikTok were, however, busy noticing a different thing altogether, and that is the facial expressions of her dancing partner Gleb, as she talked with ABC. According to fans, his expressions indicated that he wasn’t too fond of her.

“Gleb is FIGHTING to not laugh at her slipping back and forth into the accent,” one fan wrote.

“Gleb is going on vacation in his mind lmao,” another said.

“Gleb cannot stand her! He’s low-key rolling his eyes. Lol,” a third added.

Fans Drag Hilaria Baldwin For Liking A Comment Disparaging DWTS

Apart from the accent thing, Baldwin was also ripped for liking a comment that suggested she should have placed higher on the score board.

“I loved your dance. Honestly I didn’t understand why the scores were so low,” the fan commented under the video of her dance, adding, “It takes credibility from the show. Other participants didn’t perform as well as you did, and they got higher scores. Very disappointing… not credible at all.”

A screenshot of the comment was shared on Reddit, with the poster writing, “I haven’t seen any of the other stars liking comments that put the other dancers down and say the show lacks credibility because she didn’t get better scores than the other dancers.”

They continued: “I’ve actually been open to her, even with her dance history, but this is off putting to me.”

All’s fair in love and ballroom dances, right?
