Watch out Bachelor Nation, The Hallmark Channel is dipping their toe in the reality TV dating pool. On December 4 the network shared an official press release, announcing the premiere of their new dating show “Second Chance Love” on Hallmark+. Here’s everything we know about the new series, keep reading for all the details!
“Second Chance Love” is NOTHING like the dating shows out right now. The reality show will follow five couples who dated in the past as they reconnect and work out their differences, while going on romantic dates. The new Hallmark series was filmed on location in India and will be hosted by former TLC singer Chilli and her real life husband Matthew Lawrence (Boy Meets World).
Hallmark’s New Dating Show
Hallmark’s new series will have an interesting cast with a very broad age range. The press release for “Second Chance” reveals that the couples are ranging n ages 30 – 70. Some of them broke up just a few years ago, and some of the couples split DECADES ago.
Of course, Hallmark will be taking a more romantic and wholesome approach to their version of reality dating TV. It’s safe to say there won’t be any raunchy Fantasy Suite dates or cast orgies in the hot-tub with bottles of champagne.
What Is Second Chance At Love About
The “Second Chance Love” press release from TPTB at Hallmark Channel teases the episodes will be full of “nostalgia, emotional reflection, and intimate dates” as the contestants “revisit their pasts, confront unfinished business, and rediscover what once brought them together.”
The new reality show will premiere on Hallmark+ on January 1, 2026. “Second Chance Love” is already generating a LOT of buzz on the web, it looks like Hallmark might have another hit on their hands. Will you be tuning in?
