‘GH’ Spoilers: Willow May Be Out of Prison, But Will She Run Back To Drew’s Bed?

General Hospital Spoilers suggest the writers may be working their magic to try to redeem Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).

Let’s be honest; it’s necessary. Willow has made a mess of her life and her children’s lives over the last few years. From the very start, her feelings for Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) created an up-and-down, on-again-off-again situation for Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver).

She cheated on Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) while he was sick and near death’s door — all with Michael back then.

Later, she turned around and cheated on Michael after he nursed her through cancer and gave her a daughter, Amelia Corinthos (Sequoia and Serenity Mork Macko) — with his uncle, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).

Now, Willow is home from jail pending her trial, and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is about to paint a picture for the judge that someone else had more motive to shoot Drew than Willow did; that would be Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr).

Meanwhile, Drew is driving Alexis’ representation and could muddy the waters if he’s bent on Michael looking like the guilty party. While it seems that he and Willow are on the same page about that, a closer look tells a different story — and it may be why Willow is headed home, but not to Drew’s place.

Drew Wants Michael to Be Guilty

Drew hasn’t hidden his true feelings about Michael. He wants to squash his nephew like a bug, stealing everything that he holds dear.

First, he went after Michael’s wife, and rather relentlessly while she begged him to steer clear of her. Then, he came for Michael’s kids, seeking to rip custody away from their father, mostly to win favor from Willow.

After that, he tried to buy up Monica Quartermaine’s (Leslie Charleson) estate, including the mansion Michael calls home with the rest of the Q family.

In his latest bold move, Drew is attempting to steal away Michael’s freedom as he seeks to push Alexis into making it look like Willow is not just innocent, but Michael is guilty and framing her.

GH Spoilers Say Willow Believes Michael is Guilty

Willow is far from thrilled with Michael right now. Not only does she think he planted Edward Quartermaine’s (John Ingle) gun in her room at Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) place to make it look like she was guilty of shooting Drew, but she thinks Michael actually shot him.

Still, just because she happens to believe that doesn’t mean she can prove it. Moreover, when she hears about Portia’s situation, she may start to question her own theory about Michael, and his overwhelming confidence that he didn’t do it could get under her skin.

Still, it probably won’t bother her quite as much as the lengths Drew is still willing to go to to make Michael go down for this even if he didn’t do it. Is Willow so far gone that she will still agree to this?

The Path Forward is Crystal Clear

Alexis warned both Drew and Willow that him claiming he suddenly remembers Michael being there and being the person who shot him is not a good look. The court will see right through it and think Drew is lying to try to get Willow off the hook — which he would be.

Willow had some time to detox from her toxic ties to Drew while she was behind bars. She also had Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) show up and offer her the kind of support Drew never has, and it may have her wheels turning about how she really feels about the Congressman.

Rumor has it she’s going to hunker down somewhere else for a while and won’t be headed back to Drew’s place. Can you see her giving into him all over again, or might we see Willow toughen up and finally take the road less traveled?
