GH Spoilers: Willow Arrested Just in Time for Drew to Name Michael as His Shooter

General Hospital spoilers suggest Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) being arrested is the perfect trigger to propel Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) to jump into action with his plan to blame his attempted murder on Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson).

Willow and Drew had conspired for the last two weeks to blame all of this on Michael, regardless of whether or not he was actually guilty.

Drew couldn’t recall any information about who shot him, and that’s because he never saw them coming.

The first bullet brought him to his knees, and the second blow to his back made sure he wasn’t getting up off the floor.

Still, Drew could pretend he had a sudden recollection of seeing Michael or hearing his voice. That alibi of Michael’s might shatter in an instant if Drew moves forward with the plan he made with Willow.

A Takedown is Imminent

Drew is going to be more furious than ever with Michael now. He seemed rather helpless when he called Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) to his place in search of leverage, power, and kinship.

He didn’t get that, but that’ll most likely just lead Drew to take matters into his own shady hands.

As soon as Willow tells Drew she suspects that Michael set her up, he’ll no doubt become fixated on making sure Michael pays for this. Does that start with another layer of lies from Drew?

Willow is a Hypocrite

Willow sat in the interrogation room on Tuesday’s episode with tears in her eyes as she told Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) she just knew that Michael was framing her for shooting Drew — a man she insisted she loves. Is that true?

From the sounds of it a few weeks ago when she agreed to go back to him, she was just doing so to use his power and money to get her kids back, or so she told Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst).

Furious at the thought of Michael planting that gun and making her take the fall for this, doesn’t that paint Willow as a liar and a hypocrite, given that she was on board with Drew framing Michael for the very same crime?

Jacinda is Far From Reliable

Regardless of whodunnit or whether Willow has any shred of integrity left in her, Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell) is every bit the problem that it sounded like she was when Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) questioned his son’s alibi.

Is Jacinda going to be able to hold out when push comes to shove and the police don’t make it easy on her to keep lying without fear of penalty?

Will she cave and confess that she wasn’t really with Michael that night, and if so, will it give life to Willow’s claim — even if only in Chase’s eyes? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to see how this plays out.
