GH Spoilers: Will Curtis’ Interest in Jordan Complicate Portia’s Pregnancy Scheme?

General Hospital spoilers claim Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) poured his heart out to Laura Collins (Genie Francis) this week about his desire to be the father to the baby he believed Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) is carrying.

Now that he knows it’s true, he shared some of those feelings with his estranged wife. Holding out hope that he will be able to raise this baby from birth and be in his or her life every day, Curtis is torn between the love he wants to explore with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper), and the love he already feels for a child that he didn’t know about until a minute ago.

Curtis is right back where he began with Portia and Jordan. Can things really get any worse? Perhaps, if Portia realizes Jordan left a golden opportunity on the table.

Jordan is Full of Surprises

When Portia sat down at the Metro Court bar with Ava Jerome (Maura West) to confess her secret, she was so certain that Jordan had probably already told Curtis the truth.

Ava echoed her thoughts that it didn’t make sense that Jordan would share her suspicions about Portia’s pregnancy with Curtis if she was wanting to hang onto him all for herself.

But that’s exactly what she did not do, and it left Portia stunned when Curtis showed up to confront her about the baby on board.

But now that Jordan has failed to use the leverage Portia would have had she been in her shoes, will she make use of it on the other end?

Portia is a Pro at This

Paternity scandals and lying to her husband are old tricks of the trade for Dr. Robinson. She was almost free from all the guilt of the mistakes she made in her marriage, until Curtis showed up implying they might want to rethink their divorce if they’re having a baby together.

There’s just one problem — Portia doesn’t know that they are having a baby together. While she’s teeing Curtis up to keep this close to the vest until she gets through the first trimester, it’s possible that Portia will decide to construct her own narrative in the meantime. Are we in for a major twist?

Who’s Your Daddy?

The jealousy was dripping off of Portia when Curtis confronted her and she immediately snapped back asking if Jordan told him about her pregnancy when they were in bed together.

She is still worried about what her soon-to-be-ex-husband is up to in his private life, even though she’s got plenty going on with Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) in her own.

If Portia senses that Curtis was on the cusp of reuniting with Jordan, will it tempt her to do whatever it takes to hang onto him after all — including lying about her baby daddy drama? What will that mean for Isaiah and how will she get him to step aside?
