General Hospital spoilers and updates for Wednesday, September 10 tease honor, protection, and accusations!
Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) honors Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) decision, Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) offers protection and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) slings accusations!
Lulu Thinks Carly Is Out Of Her Mind!
It’s obvious that Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) thinks Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) out of her mind as she asks, “Are you suggesting I allow this to happen?” (Make sure to check out our next week GH spoilers, here!)
It sounds like possibly Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) put his girlfriend up to talking Lulu into a visit to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). Carly knows Valentin may be a lot of things, but he’d never put Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) in danger.
Jack doesn’t bring his spy work into his relationship with Carly as a practice, and usually keeps it confidential. But to get Valentin to spill what he knows, he has to get Lulu to agree to a visit to him with Charlotte, and if he has to use Carly to get it, so be it.
Honoring Decisions
In Portia’s office, Isaiah tells Portia he will honor her decision and keep it between them-speaking about the affair they’ve been having, of course.
It’s not a good look for a surgeon to be sleeping with his boss, which Portia, as the co-chief of staff is, and she’s not even divorced yet!
If that information were to get out, both Isaiah and Portia could be fired and their careers down the drain. She and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) have barely even broken up and it’s going to be at least a year before a divorce would be final-at least under real life laws.

Kai Promises Protection
In the meantime, Kai promises protection to Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and most likely, they’re going to need it-he says he can use something as a way to protect them.
Kai and Trina were hiding in Drew’s bedroom when Drew was shot, although they didn’t see who did it-however, Kai did grab a baseball bat and left it on the floor.
So far, they could be accused of accessory to attempted murder at the least, as well as destroying evidence when they burned Drew’s leverage over Portia.
However, Drew denied Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) of access to look through his safe so the only way they could would be to override it with a warrant.
Drew claimed there were classified documents-but what does Kai think he can use to protect himself and Trina; possibly his job as Drew’s intern?

Tough Choices
Back at the hospital, Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) talks to Lucas Jones (Van Hansis). Lucas apparently is concerned about the police investigation into Drew’s shooting, even though he helped save his life by removing the bullets.
Elizabeth admits if the police ask her, she won’t have a choice-she’ll have to tell them whatever they ask if it’s specific questions.
Perhaps they’re talking about Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) time away from the hospital that night, which Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) gave her an alibi for, that they know isn’t true.
Willow was missing in action during the time that Drew would have been shot, and taking a walk in the rain is questionable, even though Elizabeth’s helping her.

Nosy Questions
Speaking of Willow and the police, she is also in the hospital and Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) is asking nosy questions.
But he’s not asking as a cop, it seems he’s asking more as a friend or an ex, when he wants to know if she’s still planning on getting back with Drew.
However, since he is a cop and investigating the shooting, he must take care to be objective in any questions about Drew.
The question is, is Chase using his and Willow’s former relationship to get intel related to the case? Or is he asking nosy questions out of personal concern for his ex wife and girlfriend?

Drew Slings Accusations
Drew was shot in the back and he didn’t see his shooter, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have his suspicions as who did it.
He’s actively blaming Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) and he even told Curtis when he visited him, even though he told him he suspected him!
But this time as Drew slings accusations at the visitor in his hospital room, he seems to be having an epiphany. It seems like a light bulb just went off in his head as he tells his visitor, “It was you who shot me”!
Is he still talking to Curtis, or has someone else entered the room who he’s talking to; more importantly, does that person still want him dead?
