‘GH’ Spoilers Wednesday, July 9: Shocking Updates, Logical Fears, Fierce Confrontations!

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Wednesday, July 9 tease shocking updates, logical fears, and fierce confrontations!

Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) delivers a shocking update, Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) has logical fears, and Willow Tait (Katelyn McMullen) finds herself the subject of a fierce confrontation!

Shocking Updates

Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) appears to be in his office at Aurora when Jordan arrives to deliver a shocking update. (Make sure to check out our next week GH spoilers, here!)

Recently, she’s been torn over Curtis confiding his marital problems in her because obviously, he’s still married, and she doesn’t want an affair with her ex. Curtis looks a combination of angry and shocked as Jordan tells him she needs to do the right thing and remove herself from his life.

That means no communication with each other whatsoever, and no “accidental” meetings. Will either of them be able to stick to those boundaries?

Logical Fears

Sasha is upset as she asks someone, “You think I’m crazy, don’t you?” There are a couple of people in the Quartermaine mansion who thinks she might be imagining Daisy Gilmore (Levi Clark Coughlin) appearing and disappearing, but given Sasha’s past, they are logical fears.

It wasn’t all that long ago that Sasha was having some severe emotional problems bordering on mental ones after the death of Liam Mike Corbin (uncast infant).

But even those problems, with hallucinating and whatnot on the Home and Heart show “had a little help”.

Other GH spoilers say Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) will offer reassurance-it sounds like he’s reassuring Sasha he doesn’t think she’s crazy.

Persistent Invitations

Even though Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) got bawled out by Ava Jerome (Maura West) about lying about spending time with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) he’s persistent.

He seeks Elizabeth out again with a persistent invitation, asking her what she’s doing tonight. He’d previously barged in on Elizabeth’s girlfriend time with Portia Robinson, (Brook Kerr) with his ask about a concert he had a couple of tickets for.

It looks like now he’s sought her out at work, and she looks rather hesitant. She should look hesitant about becoming reinvolved with him-at least Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) never kidnapped a pregnant woman and held her captive in a panic room!

Plots And Plans

Elsewhere, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is talking to Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup). He tells his new congressional intern that he has a plan, he just hopes that it works.

But knowing the corrupt Congressman, his plan is probably more of a plot than it is a plan. He’s been trying to get leverage against an enemy, and Kai pretty much gave it to him when he blabbed about the search for Jacinda (Paige Herschell).

Jacinda herself might be the wild card here, even if Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) managed to track her down in Australia.

Will Drew pay her more to disappear somewhere else, or how exactly is he going to handle this?

Fierce Confrontations

At the hospital, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) tracks Willow down at work and delivers a fierce confrontation!

She tells her Michael told him what she did, and she’s not going to get away with it! Carly is referring to Willow stalking Wiley Corinthos’ (Viron Weaver) during his swimming lesson at the Metro Court Pool and violating the judge’s orders against no contact.

Since Carly got her half of the Metro Court back, still in partnership with Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) perhaps she’s going to ban Willow from the premises.

She may do more than that-she might take out a restraining order, in cooperation with Michael.

An Eye For An Eye

Elsewhere, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) discussing the arson of Charlie’s Pub in which Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) had a close call.

They both suspect Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) is behind it, in spite of his framing Selina Wu (Lydia Look) and some of her associates. Jenz’ son, Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) ran into the burning pub and saved Kristina’s life as his mother Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue) was dying. To Sonny, that kind of doesn’t matter-he tells Jason, “you come after my child, your child will pay”…if Marco’s collateral damage, so be it!
