‘GH’ Spoilers Wednesday, August 20: Coma Complications, Bad News, On The Attack

General Hospital spoilers are in for Wednesday, August 20, 2025! In tomorrow’s episode, fans can expect Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) to still not be awake, indicating a coma. Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) shares bad news with Stella Henry (Vernee Watson).

Plus, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) demands answers from Justine Turner (Nanzeen Contractor). Keep reading and let’s talk about what is coming up in the ABC soap opera.

Maxie Jones’ Coma

At the hospital, Maxie’s loved ones will all be gathered there. They just learned that the crisis is over, and Maxie should wake up soon. However, that still hasn’t happened when Wednesday’s episode airs. (Make sure to check out our next week GH spoilers, here!)

There will be a scene that shows Mac Scorpio (John J. York) with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner). Mac wonders why Maxie’s heart would fail out of nowhere.

Moving forward, Lucas ends up sharing some bad news with the family. The doctor says that Maxie should have woken up by now.

Lulu Spencer Rattled

Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) will be rattled by the events. Remember, Lulu was listening nearby when Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) was questioned by Lucas. Before BLQ could answer his questions, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) trotted over to deny it was the products.

With Lulu being an investigative journalist, I could see her finding out what really happened to Maxie. I wonder if Lulu will have some words with Martin too, as he spoke to Maxie before her collapse.

Drew Cain’s Plan

General Hospital spoilers for Wednesday, August 20 reveal that Martin and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) have another meeting. In a preview clip for Wednesday, August 20, the lawyer asks, “How do you plan to do that?” 

This could be about Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) or even Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). However, whatever idea he has cooked up is doomed to fail.

Meanwhile, Stella meets with Alexis, who has agreed to take her case. However, Alexis explains to Stella that her actions are the very definition of medical insurance fraud.

Gio Palmieri Opens Up

Fans will also see Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) open up to Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) once again.

Plus, Sonny demands answers from Turner at Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) office.  The mob boss wants to know why the lawyer is going after his son. However, it seems he might have the wrong idea. Sure, it seems like that, but she’s going after a much bigger threat: Drew.

It is also teased that Anna will discuss a theory she has swirling around in her head.
