‘GH’ Spoilers: Valentin’s Return Sparks Wild Fan Theory — Is Spoon Island Calling Him Home?

General Hospital spoilers claim Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) was welcomed back with open arms this week, at least from the fans and his loving daughter, Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke). Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) may feel quite differently about it.

Valentin’s stint in Steinmauer doesn’t look to be over anytime soon, but he still proves that won’t get him down.

It appears he is every bit as engaged in criminal activity from the inside as he ever was on the outside. What more would we expect from a veteran WSB agent? But die-hard Valentin fans need something more to latch onto, and they think they spy a way that this Cassadine finds his way home sooner rather than later.

Lulu’s Olive Branch Sends a Message

Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) traveled all the way to Switzerland with Charlotte to arrange for a father-daughter meeting. It was the least she could do to mend any remaining rift with her daughter caused by taking her away from him.

Hearing from Valentin himself that he allowed himself to be arrested so that Charlotte would be forced to go home to Port Charles and have a normal life with Lulu might have instilled new confidence, but that doesn’t mean Lulu is turning her cheek to who she knows Valentin really is. Neither should the fans.

Lulu and Charlotte engaging with Valentin again telegraphs one thing though: we’re bound to be seeing more of him soon.

GH Spoilers Leak Sidwell is Keeping the Light On

The last time we saw Valentin stateside, he wasn’t hanging on Spoon Island. He had lost the island long ago, but rumor has it that Wyndemere just isn’t getting the same kind of love and affection that it used to.

Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) seems to be fond of the parapet, but that’s about it. Fans are longing for more screentime on the island, and possibly even a peek into the tunnels this Halloween season.

Could it be that Valentin has been working with the likes of Sidwell and Professor Henry ‘Hank’ Dalton (Daniel Goddard) all this time? If that’s the case, he just might find himself right back where it all started soon.

Is Faison Really Gone?

But that’s not the only concern fans are mulling around. Sidwell and Dalton are both newer characters to the canvas, while Valentin has been around for ages.

There is a reason Jack went to him for guidance on Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Nathan West’s (Ryan Paevey) comebacks, and it’s because Valentin always seems to be at the center — or the helm — of these criminal operations.

Was he lying when he said he didn’t know how they were back from the grave? It’s hard to say, but if he is involved in carrying on Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) work from beyond the grave, then it won’t really matter that Faison is dead.

If his legend lives on, we can bet it’s only a matter of time before Valentin reveals himself as having a bigger role in all of it, and we doubt it’s going to be from behind the walls of a Swiss prison.
