‘GH’ Spoilers Tuesday, September 23: Second Chances, Shocking News, Serious Talks

 

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Tuesday, September 23, tease second chances, shocking news, and serious talks. Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) tells someone to take his second chance, while Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) delivers shocking news, and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has a serious talk.

Stella Henry Presses Martin Grey For An Answer

Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) will be back at work in the hospital when presses Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) for an answer, during tomorrow’s show. She’ll demand to know why he needs to see Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison)! Drew is still hospitalized, recovering from his shooting and subsequent surgery, and Martin has agreed to be his attorney, in exchange for him laying off Stella and fixing things at GH job. Of course Stella would question why Martin would have anything to do at all with Drew.

Drew has made Stella’s and her family’s life a living hell for the past few months. But Martin does need to keep up his end of the bargain, and so he’ll need to see him. (Make sure to check out our next week GH spoilers, here!)

Second Chances

In the meantime, Drew already has a visitor, and it’s Jordan, and she’s clearly frustrated with his recent actions. By now, she must also have heard about the death of Drew’s stepmother Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson).

Jordan is trying to impress on Drew that he could get a second chance, a way to right all the wrongs he’s done in the past couple of years or so. He’s paying attention as she rants, “This is your chance to turn it all around!” Drew’s bad boy behavior is what alienated and hurt Monica, when previously she accepted him as Alan Quartermaine’s (Stuart Damon) other son.

Shocking News

Across town, General Hospital spoilers for Tuesday’s show reveal that Anna will call Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) into her office, as a quizzical Nina asks her what’s going on. Nina is shocked and stunned when Anna says it involves Nina’s brother-actually her cousin, Nathan West (Ryan Paevey). They were raised as brother and sister, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) having given him to her sister Madeline Reeves (Donna Mills)  to protect him from Cesar Faison (Anders Hove).

Once the shock wears off, Nina will be overjoyed that her brother “Jay” as she called him has risen from the dead, so to speak. Many questions remain as to where he’s been for the past seven years, but his DNA and fingerprints proved it’s him!

Someone Should Have Warned Felicia Scorpio!

Back at the hospital, someone should have warned Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) that John Doe was her “late” son-in-law, but it seems that notification slipped through the cracks! It appears Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) may be in the room, possibly updating his chart on the hospital’s bedside table near the IV machine.

Felicia enters the room with a armful of files, and sees his face, and immediately drops them and backs up, with a disturbed look on her face. Is she thinking someone is impersonating Nathan, or maybe she doesn’t know what to think-there’s more than a little anger mixed into her facial expression.

 Portia Robinson Confronts Curtis Ashford

Elsewhere, it’s obvious that Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) are outside somewhere during the September 23 episode, judging by the greenery surrounding them. Portia confronts Curtis, likely over Jordan, as she accusingly tells him he made his choice and can’t even admit it! Portia just can’t rid herself of her toxic jealousy of Jordan, even though Curtis and Jordan have been divorced for several years.

Portia is angry at Curtis, there is no doubt about that. It looks like they’ll have a really difficult time pretending to be a happily married couple for Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) sake!

Serious Talks

In other news, Jason is talking to Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and it looks like a very serious talk. Britt looks sad and feels guilty, as he explains he was exactly where he needed to be. It sounds like she may have just reamed him out for not doing something or being somewhere she expected him to be. From the look on her face, and spoilers indicating she feels guilty, he may be explaining he found Monica dead, and everything concerning that aftermath.  If that’s what he’s talking about, no wonder Britt feels guilty!
