General Hospital spoilers and updates for Thursday, October 2 indicate that there are individuals who feel offended when questioned, concerned questions, and a significant amount of family dysfunction! Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is offended, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) has valid inquiries, and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) along with Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) engage in a dispute within the Quartermaine crypt, showcasing family dysfunction!
Pre-emption Update
GH is expected to resume with the episode mentioned here on Thursday, October 2, unless there is a tie involving two of the MLB baseball teams playing on Wednesday, October 1.
In such a case, it’s likely that Thursday, October 2 will also be interrupted. Consequently, new episodes would then return on Friday, October 3. (Make sure to check out our next week GH spoilers, here!)
Offended When Questioned
Carly is being interrogated in the office of Port Charles Police Commissioner Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) during the General Hospital preview for Thursday’s show, despite having an alibi for the night Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) was shot.
She snaps back at Anna, “Do your job, and stop trying to pin it on the obvious suspect!” Carly was anxious that this would happen, particularly since Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) overheard her issuing a death threat against Drew.
However, Anna is unwilling to dismiss Carly as a suspect just because Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) has provided her with an alibi.
As she previously mentioned to Acting District Attorney Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor), Anna does not have faith in Jack’s honesty!

Concerned Questions
At the hospital, Britt is genuinely worried about Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) after feeling a sense of discomfort at the sight of James West (Gary James Fuller).
She knew that he, Spinelli, and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) were on their way to Nathan West’s (Ryan Paevey) room. Britt seemed distressed by the whole notion of a not-so-dead Nathan getting close to the family, including their mother Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati).
Now, she challenges Spinelli, asking if he really thinks Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will be okay with this? There’s something unsettling about this situation—it just doesn’t feel right!

Well Hello There
It appears that James has finally stepped into Nathan’s room to meet his biological father for the very first time, despite Britt’s worries, James seems to have approached his dad. Nathan greets him with a wide smile, saying, “Well hello there”!
Nathan never had the opportunity to meet James, as Maxie was pregnant when Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) shot him in the chest, and that gunshot remains the last memory Nathan claims to have.
Clearly, Nathan is undeterred by his return to life and the chance to see his son for the first time – if he is indeed Nathan. While their DNA may align, there are methods to manipulate that; it wouldn’t be the first time fake DNA matches have surfaced in Port Charles!
Sonny Corinthos & Ronnie Bard Connect
Elsewhere, GH spoilers for the October 2 episode state Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) forms a new connection when he meets Veronica “Ronnie” Bard (Erika Slezak), the younger sibling of the late Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson).
Their discussion centers on Tracy, with Ronnie firmly stating that she will not allow Tracy to intimidate her! Sonny, likewise, displays no apprehension towards Tracy, despite her repeated efforts to push him out of Port Charles!
It seems that Sonny and the newcomer have a deep bond, sharing stories—did Monica write anything about Sonny as Ronnie claimed she did about Tracy? Will Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) name come up in their conversation?

Family Dysfunction
Tracy and Michael are in the Quartermaine crypt, where their family’s dysfunction is laid bare as they argue among the dearly departed! Tracy caught sight of Michael in his vehicle near Drew’s house on the night of the shooting and informed him about it.
Now, it seems she’s more interested in asking questions than in protecting him. It looks like Tracy is hinting that Michael could be responsible for his uncle’s murder, considering he has both motive and means, and if she reveals his secret, he had the chance!
Michael, clearly exasperated, tells her that if she really believes he’s lying, she should go to the police!
Alexis Davis Wakes Up To Danger
Lastly, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) remains oblivious to the fact that she and Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) audience, who feigned swallowing his sedative, has managed to escape his bindings!
Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) has ascended to the upper floor of Alexis’s home, where he has uncovered the Cassadine dagger that was previously in the hands of Jens Sidwell (Carlo Rota).
Although Alexis had no interest in the dagger, there it was … how did it end up in her residence, and where did Ric find it?
That question might be irrelevant now that Ric is holding the dagger, pressing it against her throat as she suddenly awakens on the couch!
After what felt like an eternity in a panic room, Ric has grown increasingly desperate—be careful not to rise too quickly, Alexis; you wouldn’t want that dagger to slip!
