GH Spoilers Thursday, May 8: Frustrated Moms, Wrong Accusations, Angry Dads

 

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Thursday, May 8 tease frustrated moms, wrong accusations and angry dads!

Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) shares her frustration; Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) makes a wrong accusation, and Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) one angry dad!

News Flash

Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) is in her office at GH was she calls someone on the phone-she says, “put on the news-you’re going to want to see this”.

There is probably more bad, although correct, press about the drunken Drew debacle although with a scandal like this, there’s always some exaggeration. (Make sure to check out our next week GH spoilers, here!)

Portia doesn’t know yet that Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) threw her under the bus to Drew about the drugging him with ketamine.

She may be on the phone to her partner in crime Nina, although she will pump Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) for info. She could also be talking to Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner).

Hide And Seek

Elsewhere in the hospital Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) catches up with Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson).

She tells him she just wants to know where he’s been hiding. Since her discharge from the hospital Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) has been staying at her house, and she knows Isaiah and Lucky had been best friends.

No wonder she’s curious about why Isaiah seems to have been missing in action. Liz is probably there for a checkup on her broken leg, she’s nowhere near ready to return to work as head nurse.

Frustrated Moms

Nina, in the meantime, is at the Metro Court talking to Curtis, as she shares her frustration about Drew. She’s visibly angry as she asks what is it going to take to finally get rid of him?

She’s definitely frustrated that her and Portia’s plan didn’t turn Willow completely against Drew, but instead, she seems to be closer to him than ever, once she found out he’d been drugged!

The question is, who will Willow believe-and what will Curtis say when Drew correctly blames Portia?

And will Willow ever believe anything bad about Drew anyway with her overblown sense of hero worship?

How are they going to get through to the misled mother, will Nina and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) have to take her to court for the children?

Wrong Accusations

Drew is half right in his accusations of who was responsible for his drugging, but but he’s seriously insinuating Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliot) in on it!

She was one of the last people he remembers seeing and being with prior to Jacinda (Paige Herschell) and he’s also in the Metro Court and he approaches her.

He gets up close and personal right in her face and says “the person behind this is going to be brought to justice!”

he look on her face tells it all, as she could be thinking “right back at you!” After all, Drew was a big part of getting Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) involved in jurisdiction over the Quartermaine crypt.

Lucas Is Blindsided!

Meanwhile, at the hospital, Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) is blindsided as he asks someone, “what the hell just happened?”

While he could have just discovered Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) was in the hospital for alcohol poisoning, it’s likely to be about a different situation.

Brad makes a life-changing decision, and he may have decided to take the money Drew’s paying him to leave town, and decides to say goodbye to Lucas.

On the other hand, Brad’s seeing Lucas with Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) all comfy and cozy is why Brad got upset and told Drew what he did in the first place. Perhaps Lucas witnesses some other shocking situation?

Angry Dads

Dante has sought out Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and he’s still mad even after finding out Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) was the one who brought Rocco to the college beach party.

More than likely, Carly has gotten ahead of him and told Jason what happened, but Dante is still plenty angry.

He tells Jason he blames him more than he blames Danny for Rocco’s near fatal alcohol poisoning.

Jason, however, will give Danny some tough love; and as for Dante, he’ll open up to his dad; Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) wasn’t contacted about Rocco previously.
