‘GH’ Spoilers Thursday, May 22: Protective Instincts, Blameshifting Consequences, Confronted With Truth!

 

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Thursday, May 22 tease protective instincts, blameshifting consequences, confronted with truth!

Brook Lynn Quartermaine-Chase’s (Amanda Setton) protective instincts come out, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) blameshifts consequences, and Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) is confronted with truth!

Warnings And Blowback

As the Nurses’ Ball continues, Ned and Olivia Quartermaine (Wally Kurth, Lisa LoCicero) issue a warning, and get blowback from Willow Corinthos, (Katelyn MacMullen). (Make sure to check out our next week GH spoilers, here!)

Drew Quartermaine/Cain (Cameron Mathison) is by her side as she tells them they can let go of that ridiculous idea once and for all!

Perhaps their warning is echoing Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) warning to Willow, that she’ll never take Michael Corinthos’ (most recently Chad Duell) children from him.

Drew has become persona non grata to all the Quartermaines, and especially now that he’s framed Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) for dosing him with ketamine. He’s not even supposed to use the Quartermaine name, but that hasn’t stopped him!

Protective Instincts

Elsewhere in the Metro Court ballroom, Brook Lynn’s protective instincts come into play concerning Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza).

She’s well aware of the harsh accusations that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) threw at Gio, regarding Rocco Falconeri’s (Finn Carr) near-death drunken episode at the college beach party.

Even Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) told Gio he was doing the best he could with what he knew, and did nothing wrong.

Brook Lynn had just raved over Gio’s masterful Nurses’ Ball performance and Dante admitted he did ”okay”.

Brook Lynn chastises Dante as Gio looks on, telling him, “Come on, Dante, give it up already” referring to his bad attitude towards Gio.

Blameshifting Consequences

Elsewhere, Nina and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) once again seem at odds, although they’re not likely to get into another catfight in the middle of such a public place!

Nina blameshifts consequences for the aftermath of the failed attempt to convince Willow that her hero Drew is a zero, and tells Carly whatever happens next is on her.

Carly has served sole custody and divorce papers on Willow in Michael’s behalf, with Michael knowing nothing about it-unless someone contacted him without Carly’s knowledge.

Considering he’s on his way back to Port Charles on what appears to be a private plane, that is possible.

Might Sonny Corinthos, (Maurice Benard) Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) or even Josslyn, have contacted him behind Carly’s back?

Sonny Admonishes ADA Turner

Elsewhere in the Metro Court, Sonny is still talking to ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) who he told he wasn’t going anywhere when she brought up his piers.

Sonny obviously has made a connection between those who are trying to either jail him or force him out of Port Charles and the ADA.

He tells her she is the reason “this” is happening tonight-perhaps he thinks the ADA is working behind the scenes with Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota)?

Sidwell did indeed pay for the Nurses’ Ball, and made Sonny a deal for his piers supposedly to put the Esplanade there.

But Sonny hasn’t fully signed off on that deal just yet-he wants to find out who blew up his penthouse and almost burned up Michael before he does that!

Confronted With Truth!

In the meantime, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) still has Lois cornered in the backstage wardrobe area.

She just told her she knew that Camila Palmieri (uncast character) didn’t have a baby on tour and wasn’t pregnant.

She also told her she knew that Brook Lynn did and that Dante’s the father, as Lois looks like a deer caught in the headlights! Now Lois is confronted with the truth as Lulu demands, “The only question now is who’s going to tell him the truth?”

The implication is that if Lois doesn’t, then Lulu will, and if she tells Dante, she might tell Gio too-and possibly even Brook Lynn!
