‘GH’ Spoilers Thursday, April 17: Fortuitous Favors, Quizzical Questions, Missing Man Of The Hour?

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Thursday, April 17 tease fortuitous favors, quizzical questions, and a missing man of the hour! Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) does a fortuitous favor, Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) has quizzical questions and Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) birthday party seems to be missing the man of the hour!

Fortuitous Favors

Cody’s in full cowboy gear as he rides by on a horse, and comes across someone needing a fortuitous favor; he asks as he looks downward, “Anything I can – do for you?” He pauses in the middle of his question as if taken aback, and offers assistance to Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos). He appears to be somewhere in the woods so he may indeed wonder what she’s doing out there likely all by herself!

Might this be the site where her father and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) had their wreck; all evidence has been cleared so why would she be there? Regardless, Cody comes upon Molly evidently needing a favor, and it’s lucky that he did!

Curtis Ashford Questions Jordan Ashford

General Hospital spoilers reveal that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) has questions for Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper). During a preview clip for the April 17 episode, he tells her his understanding comes with a price! Jordan looks rather uncomfortable as her ex-husband confronts her and exactly what is that price that Curtis refers to?

Jordan publicly resigned as Deputy Mayor of Port Charles at the press conference but she and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) had talked about that ahead of time. Curtis was suspicious, but Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) seemed to have an idea of what may have been happening, and she and Jordan have known each other a long time. Jordan can hardly bust Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and still be the Deputy Mayor without him getting suspicious.

The Chases Plan Their Future

Elsewhere, likely on the Quartermaine property, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase (Amanda Setton) talk about their future. He asks her “So what do you think, you feel the same way?” Brook Lynn’s baby who was given up for adoption and where to go from here with the information that they have is bound to be part of that discussion.

Chase rather grudgingly agreed to keep the truth that he knows from Dante, even though it’s difficult with them being partners in the PCPD.  But for right now, the short range plans must be getting themselves ready for the Nurses’ Ball; she’s unknowingly managing her son, and trying to help Chase get ready although he was iffy!

Felicia Scorpio Talks To Carly Spencer

At Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) place, Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) makes a request. She’s smiling as she asks if this could turn out to be a good thing for her family.

Even though Felicia gave a side eye to Carly’s romance with Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) she may be referring to something other than Carly’s romantic life! 

Quizzical Questions

Carly’s place will be popular on Thursday’s show, as her brother Lucas arrives with quizzical questions. He had interrupted Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) interrogating Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) in Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) and Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) office.

During a preview for tomorrow’s show, Lucas asks Carly if Jason is gunning for Marco, and chances are Carly doesn’t know who Marco is aside from Lucas being interested in him. Jason was asking him questions but he certainly wasn’t gunning for him.

Job Insecurity

As for Marco, he now has job insecurity as he had just been hired by Diane and Alexis, and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was with Diane at the time. Sonny ID’d him as Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue) and Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) son; Diane immediately said she’d fire him. But Sonny had another idea, so perhaps Marco’s not out on his ear after all.

He asks a serious-looking Alexis if they’re rescinding the job offer. Marco does give Alexis food for thought, although whether he’s fired remains to be confirmed.

Missing Man Of The Hour?

Finally, back at Sonny’s house, he’s hosting Dante’s birthday party; Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) is there with a cake and Sonny’s in a barbecue apron. Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) is at the party also, and she asks where’s the birthday boy? How can there be a missing man of the hour? Dante’s likely around there somewhere or perhaps he is running a little late – sometimes duty calls! It’s supposed to be a surprise party, so maybe his being late is the “surprise”!
