General Hospital spoilers say that this love triangle could have gone differently. Of course, we are talking about Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander) and whether or not he should have chosen to be with Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) over Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali). Should Spencer Have Gotten With Esme Instead Of Trina?

Apparently, there are some GH viewers out there who think Spencer might have made the wrong decision in going after that sunset with Trina rather than Esme.

As horrible as Esme was at times, at least the two of them had real chemistry. Or at least that’s what the consensus is among viewers.

Of course, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter and what direction this storyline might have gone in.

Some even wrote comments on social media such as, “Spencer was everything an adult Cassadine could have been. Haughty. Noble. Snobby. Great dresser. Intelligent with too much money and nothing to do with his time.”

Will Fans Ever See Spencer Again?

“I thought he would fit fine with Sidney’s Trina. They didn’t have off the charts chemistry but they gave off the aura of Jackie O and JFK.”

Another fan wrote, “The show started leaning into the whole Disney princess thing with Taby and Spencer became even more of a one trick pony. He just laid around the house and moped over Trina whilst gaslighting her about Esme. I hated that.”

And then there was this comment as well: “Hopefully Esme and Spencer have been able to patch up their relationship whilst being shipwrecked on that deserted island together.”

“I’m sure he can finally learn to look past her homicidal/criminal tendencies.”
