GH Spoilers: Scout’s Emotional Struggle – Blaming Drew For Monica’s Missed Goodbye

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante) has pleaded with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) to visit Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) lately.

Considering he turned her down and now she’s gone,  will she feel bitterness towards him when she finds out she missed seeing her grandmother before she passed away?

Scout Has Had A Horrible Year Of Loss

Scout has faced a tough year filled with loss, and her grandmother Monica’s passing is bound to shake her world. What makes it even more painful is how she begged Drew to let her visit Monica (and her family), but he kept brushing her off.

In fact, when she arranged for Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) to pick her up from camp and take her to the Q’s, Drew ended that visit prematurely.

Although the little girl was eager to see Monica, he hurried her along, “promising” that she would get to see her grandmother another time. The only problem with Drew’s brush-off is that other time will never come, and she’s had enough loss already.

Everyone Tries To Shield Scout From The Horrible Truth About Drew, But She’s Smart!

Although everyone around Scout tries hard not to criticize her father in her presence, despite his terrible behavior, the girl is quite clever and perceptive.

She’s beginning to realize  Drew is not the hero he used to be-she’s  as kind as they come, but when she discovers that Monica has died, will she react against her dad?

He has kept her away from her extended family, and in her isolation, Scout has grown desperate.

She has made two attempts to escape camp – once with Danny’s help and another time with Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) – to visit Danny, Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr), and the Qs. So, will she take more drastic action when she finds out about Monica’s death?

Might Scout Run Away?

Is it possible for Scout might run away-could she confide in her dad that she no longer wishes to stay with him?

Might she reach out to someone else to express her desire to distance herself from Drew; how would her Uncle Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) respond if she pleaded for his support?

Failing to see Monica one final time might trigger something in Scout that makes her never want to be near Drew again.

Additionally, there’s a possibility that Scout could invite Drew to Monica’s memorial, only for him to deny the request of the young girl. Rumors tease Drew will be at the memorial, but would he be welcome, or is he there looking for his daughter?

Danny Morgan Will Issue A Plea

General Hospital spoilers for the episode airing on September 19 indicate that Danny will be pleading with Drew regarding a matter, possibly requesting his uncle to permit his sister to attend Monica’s funeral.

However, Drew’s efforts to isolate his daughter from her family might backfire on him. The spoilers hint that with Scout having lost both her mother and grandmother within a year, coupled with Drew’s behavior, this situation could lead her to a breaking point.

Scout could easily decide to run away from home, not feeling she has a home she wants to stay in without her maternal family!
