‘GH’ Spoilers Monday, September 29: Peacemaking Efforts, Meeting Family, Confronting Strangers

 

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Monday, September 29, tease peacemaking efforts, meeting family, and confronting strangers. Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) tries to make peace, Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) meets a new family member, and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) confronts a stranger.

Just The Thing

Ava Jerome (Maura West) is obviously in Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) basement, talking to their captive audience, Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst), during GH’s preview for Monday’s show! She tells him she has just the thing for that … what might “that” be? He’s been bound and gagged to a cot for what must be weeks now, and no one’s come to his rescue yet.

It’s highly possible he might be a bit stiff and sore, considering no one is untying him to get around and stretch his legs, and perhaps not any other necessary duties. Are they even giving him food and something to drink-perhaps Ava’s going to slip him something to put him to sleep? (Make sure to check out our next week GH spoilers, here!)

An Interesting Turn Of Events

In the meantime, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is on the phone in her office, as her efforts to find information on the suddenly alive Nathan continues. She tells the person on the other end “That’s a turn of events” and the implication is, it’s interesting.

Nathan doesn’t seem to know or remember anything past when he was shot in the chest by his father, Cesar Faison (Anders Hove), subsequently missing seven years. He’s aware, thanks to Nina telling him, that he was even given a funeral and buried, and he can’t explain it. It sounds like Anna has found more information on those missing seven years-as unbelievable as the intel might be!

Peacemaking Efforts

At the hospital, Nina is continuing peacemaking efforts between her very stubborn aunt Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) and her cousin, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) who looks sad. Liesl is glaring at Britt as Nina’s in the middle trying to make peace, and tells them, “You’re going to need each other to get through this!” Undoubtedly, the “this” that Nina is referring to is Nathan not being as dead as they all thought, only there’s no explanation like there is with Britt.

Nathan in no way faked his death, and he didn’t even know he had “died”; he doesn’t know anything about being in any coma either. It will be quite an adjustment for Liesl and Britt to realize Nathan apparently didn’t die after all-someone must have revived him.

Right To Know

In the meantime, Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) appears to be with Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) at Bobbie’s, as they talk about the latest Nathan news. Spinelli looks a little bit upset as Felicia tells him that James West (Gary James Fuller) has a right to know that his father is alive.

Spinelli had been dating Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and was hoping for a marriage when Nathan came along and stole her heart. It’s plain that he doesn’t want to give up his place in James’ life and move aside for Nathan again.

Meeting Family

Elsewhere, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) visits Nathan in his hospital room during the September 29 show, and introduces herself-“I’m Willow Tait, your niece!” Nathan looks a little confused, since he didn’t know Nina had any living babies at the time when he “died”. Nina didn’t either until her mother, Madeline Reeves (Donna Mills) passed away and found the two half-heart necklace with a note in her effects.

No doubt, Nathan will wonder why Nina didn’t mention her daughter to him-let alone that she’d had twins and one was dead! Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) is likely a sore subject with Nina and is with Willow, for that matter.

Jacinda Bracken Checks In With Michael Corinthos

At the Quartermaine mansion, Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell) checks in with Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson). She’s concerned as she tells Michael, “I’m not sure they got it”. Prior to the death of Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) Jacinda agreed to be Michael’s alibi for the night that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) was shot. 

It sounds like she had perhaps submitted some “proof” of their night together, aside from when Dante Falconeri  (Dominic Zamprogna) walked in on them. But with Dante and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) both being involved at Monica’s funeral, and them and Anna also being involved with Nathan’s shocking return, it’s easy to see why. Although Drew’s shooting is still an important case, more pressing matters came over the horizon!

Confronting Strangers

Meanwhile, Tracy is in the Quartermaine crypt, confronting a trespassing stranger; Veronica Bard (Erika Slezak) knew who Tracy was by her actions-Tracy certainly didn’t know her. Tracy tries to get more information out of Monica’s “long lost sister” Veronica, asking, “Why don’t you tell me why you’re here”. It is strange that Veronica entered the crypt, where Tracy spotted her next to Lila Quartermaine’s (Anna Lee) final resting place, instead of crashing the funeral!

Tracy is likely to be suspicious of the new arrival to the Bard family, considering Monica never spoke of any relatives. She came to town as a foster child of Gail Adamson (Susan Brown)!
