'GH' Spoilers Monday, March 17: Lonely Birthday Girls, Picking Fights, Pre-emptive Actions

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Monday, March 17 tease lonely birthday girls, picking fights, and pre-emptive actions! Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) is a lonely birthday girl, while Drew Quartermaine’s (Cameron Mathison) is picking fights (with the wrong broad), and Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) takes pre-emptive action!

Arresting Personality

Someone in Port Charles faces an arresting personality as Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) shows up with a marshal and says he’s there to serve an arrest warrant. Considering Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) has come to Port Charles to take care of business with Brennan, it could be him. Anna had previously tried to talk Valentin into letting her bring him in, but he slipped away in Buenos Aires.

Valentin makes a miscalculation according to upcoming General Hospital spoilers: if Anna’s not there arresting him, then who? There’s always a possibility she’s found something on Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), although her focus seems to be Valentin.

Lonely Birthday Girl

After leaving her surprise birthday party early, and telling Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) she wanted to be alone, Trina the lonely birthday girl shows up at his door. Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) had well-meaningly given her the same book on Parisian art for her birthday as Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) had, bringing up grief.

Now Trina, after holding Spencer’s gift book, looking at it, and with it painful memories, shows up at Kai’s door. She tells him she doesn’t want to be alone after all. With that said, is she really, really ready to move on?

Picking Fights

Back at the Quartermaine mansion, Brook Lynn Chase (Amanda Setton) brings up Drew during a clip in General Hospital’s preview for Monday’s show. She states, he has picked  a fight with the wrong broad!  Chances are, even though she usually doesn’t call her grandma Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) a “broad” she could be referring to her. Perhaps she’s alluding to something Drew has said, and she’s referring to him calling Tracy “a broad”.

Drew has certainly opened up a family can of worms with his likely still trying to fight over the Quartermaine crypt being just a tad into public property. But the surveyor dropped his assault charges and Drew’s just beating a dead horse!

A Very Good Idea

In spite of their previous friction-filled encounters, Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) seems to have won the respect of Tracy, neither yet knowing their family connection. During General Hospital’s Monday show, Tracy flashes a self-satisfied almost smile as Gio  suggests that maybe there’s a way to make the law work for her.

It would seem they may still be talking about Drew and the zoning fight regarding the family mausoleum, and Brook Lynn may also be in the room.  It sounds like a reasonable and peaceful Quartermaine family/extended family discussion-who’d have thought such a thing were possible?

A Mob Brainstorm

In the meantime, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and the two of them brainstorm. It certainly sounds like Sidwell might be the topic of their conversation, although it could just as well be Drew or even Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst)! Sonny asks Jason, “Why does he thinks it’s smart to come after my family?”

That’s an excellent question-to come after the family of the Port Charles don seems kind of stupid! Jason had believed Sidwell when he questioned him about the firebombing that injured Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and he said he didn’t do it, but that doesn’t mean he’s totally innocent!

Pre-emptive Actions

Lastly, In Jack’s Metro Court suite, he and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) had enjoyed their first romantic evening, when suddenly Valentin showed up! Carly looks like she’s ready to turn a champagne glass into a deadly weapon in a napkin when Jack knocks it out of her hand with a stern “DON’T”! General Hospital spoilers for the episode do say Carly is in danger, and no one could blame her if she was aiming that champagne glass at Valentin, considering what happened in Baden-Baden.

Valentin had tried to strangle Jack in the steam room after being shot at in the Prague café and Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) being endangered in the process. Carly walked in on it and saved Jack’s life-so of course she’s going to assume Valentin came to finish Jack off!
