‘GH’ Spoilers Monday, June 30: Baptism Begins, Encouraging Words, Angry Threats

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Monday, June 30 tease the baptism begins, encouraging words, and angry threats!

Daisy Gilmore-Corinthos’ (Levi Clark Coughlin) baptism begins, Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) has encouraging words, and Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue) makes angry threats.

Baptism Begins

Daisy’s baptism begins as the pastor says “We’re gathered here today to celebrate the sacrament of baptism”.

He’s in the middle at the front of the chapel as to the left, stand Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) holding Daisy in her arms with Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) beside her. Daisy is clothed in a white baptismal gown with a sweet white matching bonnet. (Make sure to check out our next week GH spoilers, here!)

Daisy’s godparents, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) are on the other side of the pastor. So far, it’s been uneventful other than Natalia crashing the baptism!

Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase Has Questions

Still inside the wedding chapel, but not yet seated, Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase (Amanda Setton) seems suspicious, as she asks someone, “what did you just do?”

It’s possible she’s talking to Natalia, who she had spoken to before heading out to the baptism-she’d told her Deception Cosmetics was in financial trouble.

Natalia was quite upset when she crashed the baptism-she’d read in that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was moving to Belize with her. But she realized he wasn’t when his guard came to pick her up and take her right away-Sonny had meant it for her safety.

Unintended Interruptions And Accusations

Back in the Aurora office, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) WERE making up, and actually making out on his desk when Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) walked in!

But it looks like Jordan’s unintended interruption has caused more accusations, and Curtis looks confused.

Portia tells him that he may not see what’s going on here, but she certainly does-and it sounds like she’s accusing Jordan of trying to break up their marriage.

Or is she accusing Curtis of two-timing her again with Jordan, like she did previously? If Portia’s not careful she’ll drive him away, and it won’t be anyone’s fault but her own!

Encouraging Words

Elsewhere, Lucas encourages Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) to reach out to his mother and try to make amends before it’s too late. He tells him this may be the last chance he has to reach back-Natalia had left his office with the two on bad terms.

Marco had figured out that Natalia was running and leaving the country in the wake of the driving while intoxicated charges that could put her in prison.

He’d also figured out that Sonny was helping her, and he had been the one to work out a plea deal with Acting District Attorney Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor). She left telling him they would never see each other again, and that might well be the case!

Angry Threats

Sonny’s guard has caught up with Natalia, and is taking her away from the chapel-she spews angry threats at Sonny as the guard leads her away. She looks daggers at Sonny as she tells him “You get every blessing you deserve”, after having crashed the baptism.

There is no discussion-he’s not leaving his granddaughter’s baptism to start a new life with her in Belize, he never intended to.

He was just making sure she’d be safe and have a chance at a better rest of her life, but she read in a non-existent romance. It’s pretty easy to see the “blessings” she means aren’t blessings, they’re more like cursings!

Charlie’s Pub Is Firebombed

In the meantime, Charlie’s Pub is firebombed-someone throws an incendiary device through what appears to be a back door to the storeroom.

It could be a Molotov cocktail, and it lands on a couple of crates on the floor-if it catches liquor on fire, it could take out the whole pub and anyone who might be in it! Is this Natalia’s “blessings” she’s referring to, or is this unrelated to her issues?

More importantly, this seems to be later in the evening because it’s dark-is Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) working?

Is she in danger-it sounds more like this is happening because of Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) hit list of family photos!
