‘GH’ Spoilers Monday August 4: Daughter Cons Mother, Husband’s Blindsided, Raising The Stakes!

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Monday, August 4 tease daughter cons mother in the name of the WSB, a husband’s blindsided, and someone raises the stakes!

Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) sets up her WSB cover, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) blindsided, and Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) raises the stakes!

Daughter Cons Mother In The Name Of The WSB

At the Metro Court, Josslyn sets up her WSB cover and cons Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) in the name of the WSB! (Make sure to check out our next week GH spoilers, here!)

Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) just set up for Josslyn and Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) to go to the Five Poppies spa in Dalmatia, Croatia as a married couple in love. But Josslyn still has to explain her absence from Port Charles and from school.

She explains to a skeptical looking Carly that putting distance between them would help her figure out what she wants.

But who is Josslyn referring to, putting distance between herself and her mother or herself and Vaughn?

Blindsided Husbands

Elsewhere in the Metro Court in the restaurant Chase is blindsided as he’s at a table with Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase (Amanda Setton).

They are discussing the topic of adoption, but he looks upset as he questions, “We can’t adopt until you work things out with Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza)?

The look on Brook Lynn’s face can only be described as pleading, and she looks like she’s going to stop crying.

Chase looks upset, but Brook Lynn no doubt feels if they adopted a baby now, Gio would feel even more unwanted by her. Will she be able to make Chase understand where she’s coming from?

Keeping Secrets

At the pool, Gio is with Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) and he tells her “I need you to promise to keep this between us”.

He has encountered his birth father Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) a couple of times recently-and the chill between them has seemed to thaw.

Might that be what he’s confiding in Emma, or is it something else entirely?

He does seem quite concerned about Emma making herself too friendly and available to Professor Henry Dalton (Daniel Goddard) and besides, she stole Vaughn’s facilities key. He was concerned Emma’s behavior around Dalton might border on overkill!

Ric Has A Question

Elsewhere, Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) has a question as he asks, “What can I do for you?” Upcoming spoilers indicate that he and his daughter Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) will meet for dinner-does someone interrupt them?

Father and daughter haven’t had alone time in quite a while, both being busy with their legal obligations-he’s a defense attorney, she an assistant district attorney.

What might the two discuss over dinner, will it be family matters or shop talk-or maybe something else?

Doubling Down?

Or perhaps Ric’s meal with his daughter has something to do with Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) interaction with her mother, and the two are doubling down!

Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is skeptical, as Ava claims she wants to do her a huge favor!

No wonder Alexis is skeptical, as she’s been cooking the books of the Cassadine estate to keep paying her and Ric’s blackmail.

Ric’s dinner with Molly could be a great subterfuge to make sure his collusion with Ava isn’t going to get back to Molly, as they blackmail Alexis over Kristina’s attempt on Ava’s life! Sometimes keeping secrets all in the family is harder than you’d think!

Raising The Stakes

Elsewhere, Kristina is raising the stakes in Cody Bell’s (Josh Kelly) seduction job of Ava that she talked him into doing for a whole lot of money!

She raises the stakes as she asks him “How about for an extra $10,000?” Cody replies, “Done!”

She’s trying to break up Ava and Ric and Cody’s seducing her away from Molly’s father is a key part of it.

Now that Molly-whether it’s the real truth or not-said she and Cody were just friends, and denied any romantic interest, his risk is not so high in seducing another woman!
