GH Spoilers: Laura Forced To Make A Sacrifice, Political, Or Medical?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will be forced to make a sacrifice this week on the ABC soap. The question is, will the sacrifice be political-or perhaps, even medical?

Something Shocking Happens In Port Charles This Week-Rocked By An Emergency

Something shocking happens in Port Charles this week, and the city is rocked by an emergency-and everything seems to go down the night of the mayoral debate.

The debate takes place at Port Charles University, the same time that Professor Henry Dalton’s (Daniel Goddard) lab is broken into by two of Laura’s grandchildren, and Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn)!

Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) and Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) are shown in the weekly promo, as Rocco opens the door and Charlotte peers in, saying, “Oh my God!”

Laura will make a sacrifice, and as she’s in the mayoral debate, two of her grandchildren may be exposed to hazardous materials from a secret lab.

There’s also a possibility one or both could be injured as the result of a possible experimental form of life-a clone-attack?

Political Sacrifice?

In a recent episode of the ABC soap, Laura was really worried about the political climate in Port Charles, and expressed to her daughter, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) her worries.

Previously, she had been approached by Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) in an effort to pressure her into certain political favors, mostly regarding “Measure C”.

This would turn over the waterfront property belonging to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to Sidwell, along with Laura’s opponent Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).  

Supposedly they want to “clean up the waterfront” and improve it with a grandiose project. But Laura doesn’t trust any of them, however, if she loses the debate, she could have to make a political sacrifice and concede.

Medical Sacrifice?

It’s possible that Charlotte or Rocco could be injured by something-or someone-that they encounter in the secret lab; at the very least, become ill from a pathogen within.

Ahead of when Laura makes the sacrifice, Professor Henry Dalton (Daniel Goddard) has terrible timing-does he discover Rocco or Charlotte in his lab? Might he take a shot at one of them, causing massive loss of blood-and Laura’s the only match to donate?

With secret experiments taking place, some of which involve cold fusion, which the idea of a nuclear reaction that would happen at or near room temperature, anything could happen!

There’s also a possibility that cloning or resurrection could be happening in the lab, and some zombie attack one of Laura’s grandchildren-and Laura makes a medical sacrifice.
