GH Spoilers: Kai’s Sacrifice, Confesses To Save Trina & Portia?

General Hospital spoilers reveal that Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) is determined to earn redemption with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali).

The young man already broke into Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) house and stole the evidence against Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr).

Kai Taylor’s Discovery

Now that Kai knows the truth about Drew targeting Stella Henry (Vernee Watson), he’s determined to make it up to the Ashford family.

Then, they got the idea to break into Drew’s house to obtain the evidence against Portia. However, they had no idea that someone would come in there and shoot Drew.

On the way out, Kai managed to grab the evidence against Portia. With the police investigating the crime, there is no way Kai and Trina can tell anyone about the evidence. So, they have burnt it. This could become a problem later on, though.

Drew Cain’s Investigation

For now, Drew is alive but unconscious. There is also a risk of the congressman being paralyzed. However, the man will demand the police investigate and find out who shot him in the back.

Kai has a reason for his fingerprints to be in Drew’s house. The young man had several chats with Drew at the house. However, there would be no reason for Trina’s fingerprints to be there.

So, when the police start investigating and asking questions, Trina could land in hot water. It’s not like she can say why she was really there because that would expose Portia’s crime.

Confession & Redemption

General Hospital spoilers reveal that Kai can’t believe what an error in judgment he made about Drew.

However, he is determined to make things right. If the police start looking at Trina, could Kai make an unexpected criminal confession?

Kai might think it’s too risky to tell the police the truth about why they were there that night. So, the young man could confess that he shot Drew in the back.

It would mean far greater prison time than just breaking and entering, but it would protect Portia and earn redemption in Trina’s eyes.

However, will Trina still be there when Kai gets released? Or will evidence come forward about the true identity of Drew’s shooter? I really like Kai, so I would like to see him not go to prison. The web is really tangled and complicated already, though.
