GH Spoilers: Is a Valentin and Carly Romance Possible From Prison?

General Hospital Spoilers gush some fans are thinking Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is up to her old tricks, and they see danger ahead if she’s going to involve Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) in them.

Most of us were taken aback last week to find the woman who showed up in a wig and glasses to visit with Valentin was none other than Carly.

Knowing what Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) did to her, and to Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy), made it easy for her to jump on a plane to Switzerland and start plotting against him — with Valentin’s help.

The Cassadine criminal was more than happy to oblige in the takedown, and it’s making us wonder whether there will ultimately be more to the story between him and Carly than just the sabotage of a mutual enemy.

Carly is a Damsel in Distress

Valentin has never really been able to resist a damsel in distress. Don’t get me wrong; he’s not the type to fall for anyone who can’t stand on their own two feet.

Overly needy isn’t what gets him. But strategy, scheming, and secrets are right up his alley. There is one possible thing that could throw a wrench into this place, and that’s if Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) manages to get a meeting with him.

Seeing her again could blind him to every other woman in his orbit, but it’s not looking like that’s going to happen at this juncture. So, will Valentin start looking forward to future visits with Carly?

GH Spoilers Gossip Valentin is a White Knight

The perfect match for a damsel in distress is the white knight, and Valentin has always been good at playing that card. Granted, he doesn’t have every power play at his disposal from inside Steinmauer, but he’s not neutered either.

He’s clearly still pulling strings and making calls, and capable of getting information that the WSB cannot.

Carly knew she needed to go to him if she was going to get the skinny on how to really stick it to Jack, and Valentin is happy to have someone to work with again. Will Carly see him as anything more than a means to an end though?

Before You Say That’s Not Her Style…

Not only are some fans struggling to picture Carly with the likes of Valentin, but many are saying Carly would never date someone who is in lock-up. Are we sure about that, friends?

Recall Jack’s history with Carly. Sure, they didn’t meet in a visitation room, but they weren’t far from it. To be fair, Carly has known Valentin for years.

In fact, they’ve seen more of each others’ bad sides than she and Jack ever had. Jack being carted off to a prison cell didn’t stop Carly from visiting him — or falling for him.

So, if she is the current damsel in distress, and Valentin is a white knight, will she care that he’s donning a jumpsuit — especially if he’s on the outside soon? Can you see it?
