‘GH’ Spoilers Friday, September 5: Defensive Strategies, Surprising Reactions, Collection Calls

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Friday, September 5 tease defensive strategies, surprising reactions, and collection calls!

Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) goes over defensive strategies,  Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) floors her mother with a surprising reaction, and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) makes a collection call!

Defensive Strategies

Diane is meeting with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) at Café Cherie to go over defensive strategies. (Make sure to check out our next week GH spoilers, here!)

In the wake of Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) attempted murder, she asks Sonny who she should be preparing to defend?

Also in the Port Charles Police Department’s case list is the murder of Judge Eva Heran (Tess Auberjonois), which Sonny may be questioned about.

As far as the suspects in the attempted murder case, it might be easier to rule out suspects than list one! Just about everyone in Port Charles had a motive to put Drew out of their misery!

Surprising Reaction

In the meantime Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is floored by Kristina’s surprising reaction at the suggestion Emily “Scout” Cain (Cosette Abinante) comes stay with them!

For one thing, there is that matter of a pesky restraining order that Drew had served on them before he was shot.

But on the other hand, even though he pulled through surgery, Scout’s going to need her grandmother and aunts.

But Kristina is probably concerned about something else when she cries out, “Bringing Scout here would be the worst thing!” She may be worried the inquisitive Scout may find their captive audience in the basement!

Portia And Nina Talk Post-Operation

Over at the hospital, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) talk post-operation, where Portia was probably tempted to botch Drew’s surgery.

don’t, and she and Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) managed to save his life and remove both bullets.

Whether Portia is talking about Drew’s surgery or something else is a question, considering she remarks, “So impossible, and yet so fortunate”.

Perhaps she means she pulled off the impossible considering her anger at and hatred towards Drew. And Drew is fortunate that she chose her Hippocratic oath over revenge!

Off The Record

In another area of GH, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) has come to talk to Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) about Drew, following her conversation with her uncle Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight).

As the two of them were having lunch, Martin had gotten a call notifying him that Drew had been shot and was in the hospital, still an emergency contact of record.

It sounds like Lulu wants to see what Willow has to say about the attempted murder, as she tells her she has to hear what she has to say off the record.

Will she open up to Lulu about what she knows, about what she feels, and what she has to say? Or will Willow be too suspicious of Lulu to tell her truths?

Vaughn And Josslyn In Danger

Still at the Five Poppies resort in Dalmatia, Croatia, Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) are still in danger and fearing for their lives.

They are tied up again, Pascal (Marc Forget) having caught Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) calling Jason  Morgan (Steve Burton) for help. Josslyn asks Vaughn, “Would you really sacrifice your life for mine?”

Vaughn will likely answer that he would, if it came right down to the bottom line. Hopefully, Josslyn won’t have to find out.

Collection Calls

Back at Port Charles, Anna is in the WSB field office and she’s in Jack Brennan’s (Chris L. McKenna) face! She tells him that he owes her, and she will collect!

Anna was concerned about Josslyn being roped into the WSB, and previously had warned him away from recruiting Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner).

Anna is serious about what she’s telling Brennan, even though he had leverage on her that forced her to quit the WSB, she’s likely got just as much on him! She’s not going to let Jack weasel out of this one if it’s the last thing she does.

Pot Shots And Ducking From Danger

In the meantime, it’s difficult to tell whether Jason has returned to Port Charles, or if he returned to the Five Poppies resort after the cryptic phone call from Britt!

He’s in a room with a wooden blind, which could either be in his Corinthos Coffee office or somewhere in the resort. He ducks quickly as a man’s hand is shown on a gun with a silencer, and the bullet barely misses him.

Who’s taking pot shots at Jason-he’s shocked over something; is someone after both Jason and Drew? It kind of looks like the same gun, but when Drew was shot there was no silencer-if he’s still in Croatia, it’s probably Pascal shooting!
