‘GH’ Spoilers Friday, March 14: Urgent Requests, Birthday Surprises, Sizzling Invites

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Friday, March 14 tease urgent requests, birthday surprises, and sizzling invites. Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) has an urgent request, while Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) offers up a birthday surprise, and elsewhere, Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) gets a sizzling invite.

Urgent Requests

Portia and Ava Jerome (Maura West) appear to be at a surprise birthday party set up for Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali). Portia remarks to Ava, that someone needs to do something soon, but is that an urgent request about Trina’s party, or Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison)? Even Ava is annoyed by the cutthroat congressman and his power plays; however, as Ava and Portia have never been close, what is Portia really asking?

Things are definitely coming to a head even if Portia agreed to Drew’s pediatric project and to be at the press conference by his side. But someone does  need to put a stop to his power grabs!

Good Advice

Elsewhere at Trina’s party, Stella Henry (Vernée Watson) gives Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) some good advice during General Hospital’s Friday show. It sounds like she’s talking about the press conference too. It was Stella who got a friend in DC to put the cutthroat congressman in his place, although Curtis somewhat grudgingly agreed to Aurora holding the press conference.

Stella is likely talking about Portia when she tells Curtis, “If you get in the way of that, you’re going to hinder her success”. It sounds like there is some behind the scenes plotting against Drew that’s going to happen.

Birthday Surprises

Speaking of Trina’s birthday, Kai is talking to her when he asks, “What would make tonight feel more date like?” It sounds like Kai is the one who’s got delivery duties to make sure Trina gets to her surprise birthday party! Trina is finally coming out of her mourning period after nearly a year and a half and considering other romantic options.

Trina will be surprised when she finally finds out what’s going on, and Kai is ever so willing to be a part of making her happy.

So, Who’s The Real Emma Scorpio-Drake?

Across town, General Hospital spoilers imply that Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) will be with Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) who really made an impression that day at the Quartermaine crypt! She took Drew to task on social media and made it go viral, when he had Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) arrested!

Gio and Emma sat on lawn chairs and stood guard over the crypt for a time, where they talked and got to know each other better. During a preview clip for Friday’s episode, Gio looks at Emma who’s got a different type of smile on her face and says it makes him wonder who the real Emma is. Is she finally showing her sweet side?

Family Reunions

In other news, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) is smiling as she calls someone during the Friday, March 14 show, saying “I have a little surprise for you.” Who might she be calling, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) or Laura Collins (Genie Francis)? Considering Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) is with Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) at Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) place during a clip for tomorrow’s preview, those seem to be the only two options.

We know the surprise is Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez), who gladly accepted her mother’s embrace after being flown home by Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). But why is Rocco with Kristina when his sister just came back? 

Sizzling Invite

General Hospital spoilers remind fans that after a talk with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) during Thursday’s show, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) decides to make a sizzling invite! As Jack shows up at her door, he asks her “What kind of person are you?” She smiles and embraces him, saying “Stick around and find out!” It looks like ‘Jackly’ might finally be hitting the sheets after a long and slow burn!

But perhaps the situation should be reversed and she should be asking him what kind of person he is instead!

Sonny Corinthos’ Confession

Back to Kristina, she’s with Rocco when they show up at Sonny’s, who has just recently moved into Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) old house. Rocco looks a bit confused himself as Kristina asks, “What’s going on, dad?”  General Hospital spoilers suggest Sonny will make a confession, so what could this be about?

Kristina wants answers and it looks like Rocco might want some too. But why isn’t Rocco reuniting with his sister instead of being escorted by Kristina to Sonny’s?
