GH Spoilers: Britt Realizes That She Has Been Given A Placebo Treatment

General Hospital spoilers indicate that Dr. Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) medication could be withheld from her if she doesn’t get back to her work.

Pascal (Marc Forget) informed her that her medication was waiting for her in the lab, when Britt complained to him that it was missing. “He”, whomever he is, expects her to work.

Britt needs the medication, and it cannot be withheld. Pascal suggests that she keep working. A rebellious Britt could play the game, as she knows that “he” wouldn’t want her to die either.

Britt Westbourne Goes On Strike

Knowing that “he” cannot let her die or all his research would go to waste, Britt would inform Pascal that she is going on strike. “He” won’t withhold her medication, because she is the only hope that “he” has.

Pascal would warn her that she does not want to play this game, but Britt thinks that she has the upper hand.

Britt is confident that she will still receive her medication as normal, and she will resume her research when she is refreshed and ready. Pascal tells her that she will regret this.

“He” Instructs Pascal To Give Britt Westbourne Her Medication

Pascal would get instructions from “he” to give Britt her medication, and Pascal would not understand.

Pascal would advise “he” to withhold her medication until she gets back to work on their research. “He” would tell her that they cannot have Britt dying, and that she will resume working when she is reading.

Pascal would decide to go against his wishes, and continue to withhold the medication from Britt, who finally decides that she will get back to work. This is what Pascal wanted.

Britt Westbourne Feels Fine

It has been a while since Britt had her last dose and she is feeling fine. She just started getting back to work at the lab, and continues to feel great. Pascal arrives and is pleased to see her working, and arrives with the next dosage.

Britt takes it from him, and sends Pascal on his way. Britt looks at the syringe, and starts to wonder if she really needs the take it.

She then decides to test the substance inside the syringe, and make sure it’s what she thinks it is. Since she feels fine, she starts asking a lot of questions.

Britt Westbourne Learns That She Is Taking A Placebo

Now that she has tested the vial, Britt realizes that she has been deceived. She is indeed taking a placebo treatment, and not what she thought she has been.

This leads Britt to the conclusion that she is fine, in good health, and that her Huntington’s Disease may have never existed!

However, she decides to let Pascal believe that she is continuing to take the placebo in order to figure out what “he”’s agenda really is!
