GH Spoilers: Best Moment of 2025

General Hospital spoilers tease that the Nurses’ Ball is always a big event in Port Charles. The charity event always brings out the most talented residents of town to entertain everyone.

This was no exception. There were several amazing performances, but none can top the amazing violin number by Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza).

He literally brought the house down. But later, he was supposed to play again as Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) did a sultry tango number.

Gio Palmieri heard devastating news!

Right before Gio’s was supposed to perform his second number, he overheard an argument between Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) and Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins). During their arguments, Gio received the shock of his life.

He had been adopted, and his birth parents were actually Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zomprogna)!

Dazed, he returned to the stage and started his number. But as he stared into the audience, anger overtook him and he smashed his violin on the ground, storming off as he revealed the truth to a gasping audience!

Michael Corinthos’ dramatic return!

Later, things calmed down and the final performance of the night was performed by several children, including Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver). After their performance, a mysterious figure swooped in a took Wiley away.

Everyone gasped as they realized Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) was back to claim his life back, including his children!

Michael had spent several months in a burn clinic overseas after a firebombing at Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Bernard) penthouse. His return so soon was both unexpected and shocking!

Things would never be the same in Port Charles!

Both Gio’s meltdown and Michael’s return set the stage for the coming months. Gio would take months to even begin to accept that he was a Quartermaine. He’s just now starting to form a relationship with Brook Lynn although he and Dante remain at odds.

Michael’s return ignited a fierce custody battle that is still playing out to this day. Michael has sole custody for now, but time will tell who will end up with the children!

Both events were enthralling on their own but together made this one of the most memorable Nurses’ Balls in history!
