Michael Had Plenty To Say About Jane
Knight had much to share regarding his on-screen sparring partner. This year has seen a significant amount of tension between Tracy and Martin on General Hospital.
However, there’s an undeniable chemistry between this duo that captivates viewers, and Michael E. Knight may have just teased a potential enemies-to-lovers storyline ahead.
Tracy and Martin have been alternating in their quest for revenge against one another.
Michael E. Knight suggests that a relationship between Tracy and Martin could indeed be on the horizon, and he also commended his co-star Jane Elliot.
Enemies To Lovers?
Until now, Martin (Knight) has been regarded as one of the kindest individuals in Port Charles. True, he has three ex-wives, but he was the more admirable of the two brothers, a thriving attorney, and a loyal friend to Stella Henry (Verneé Watson).
However, everyone has their breaking point, and for Martin, it was when Tracy (Jane Elliot) had him taken into custody.
This incident drove Martin to seek revenge on the Quartermaine heir by falsifying Monica Quartermaine’s (the late Leslie Charleson) will, ensuring that Ronnie Bard (Erika Slezak) inherited the house instead of Tracy.
It seems that Martin is not serving time for his crime but is instead confronting the disappointment of his sister, Laura Collins (Genie Francis).
Hate Sometimes Fuels Love
Yet, despite everything, Knight hints that there might still be a flicker of romance between Martin and Tracy. “When you experience a hatred that burns intensely, there must be some form of acknowledgment-there has to be a kindred spirit involved.
Only someone with whom you share a significant amount in common can irritate you to that extent,” Knight shared in a recent interview with Michael Fairman TV.
He seemed to confirm that a romance between Tracy and Martin is possible. Regarding his scene partner, Knight remarked about Elliot, “It’s always enjoyable to collaborate with someone who brings more to the table than what’s written in the script.”
Michael Mentioned When Tracy Pinched Martin’s Cheek
Knight highlighted that the moment when Tracy pinched Martin’s cheek was Elliot’s way of elevating the scene; he said it was not scripted, it was her idea.
Whether it’s love or animosity, Knight confessed, “I believe we all somewhat agree that there’s something truly invaluable about the Tracy and Martin dynamic. It’s simply entertaining to watch.”
Considering that Tracy was last married to Martin’s sister’s second husband, Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary), getting into an unintentional romance with Laura’s brother would be interesting!
Besides, even though Martin’s done some pretty squirrely things in his time, Tracy’s always been involved with the bad boys!
