GH Spoilers: A Relapse Jeopardize Michael’s Sole Custody Arrangement?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) had a busy day on the Tuesday, July 1 episode when he watched his youngest daughter, Daisy Celeste’s (Levi Clark Couglin) christening.

With that said, the day got even busier when he found out that Kristina Corinthos-Davis’s (Kate Mansi) establishment got firebombed, with her in it.

The trauma of thinking his sister might have to go through the same thing triggered trauma and an admission. Could a new storyline be brewing about Michael’s recovery?

Michael Corinthos Is Still In Pain

General Hospital spoilers note that Michael admitted he was still in pain when Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) asked him about his recovery.

He also confessed to taking pain pills as he didn’t want anything to jeopardize Daisy’s big day. While he wasn’t in pain, he wanted to ensure he wouldn’t feel any discomfort. This begs the question: Did Michael leave the Baden-Baden treatment center too soon?

Could A Relapse Jeopardize His Custody?

There was a lot of talk about Michael’s accident back in January, during Tuesday’s show, in light of Kristina getting caught up in the fire at Charlie’s Pub.

Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) caused the strike, but his intent was a warning, and he didn’t want anyone in the establishment when it happened.

Still, Kristina was there, and this brought up the fact that Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) kids seem to always get caught in the crossfire of things meant for him.

Such was the case with Michael, and he stood to lose custody of Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver), and Amelia Corinthos (Sequoia and Serenity Mork Macko) because he was away for so long.

Michael made an explosive return in May, and it was hinted back then that he may have left the facility too soon, but he needed to take that chance to ensure Wiley and Amelia were protected from Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).

So, could this mean that Michael isn’t fully healed? What kind of ramifications could arise if he hasn’t had a full recovery? Could a relapse, and possibly a medical emergency, affect his current custody agreement?
