That’s because multiple sources have said that Kelly might have been offered a brand new two-year contract with the hit ABC soap.

Not only that, but there’s also strong speculation suggesting that her character, Sam McCall, might have shot Drew. Talk about a bombshell!

It’s no secret that Kelly has had perhaps one of the most difficult years in her life, both professionally and personally.

Many fans of the show were upset that Kelly was given the treatment that she was given by General Hospital’s Executive Director, Frank Valentini. To this day, no one knows what really happened behind closed doors.

That’s why when Kelly announced that she was starting a new podcast with her best friend Shanna Moakler, fans got excited.

Back in March, the two women announced to the world that they were excited to gab about everything and anything on a podcast called Bad Bunnies. Unfortunately, that never happened.

And while there were a lot of people who were hoping that Kelly would move on to another soap like The Bold and the Beautiful or The Young and the Restless, that hasn’t happened, either. She also hasn’t gotten any offers to appear on primetime television, either.

If that weren’t enough, it seems like Kelly has completely ditched her fans. She hasn’t thanked them in months, nor has she made any public appearances.

The only time she was seen in public was when she was in the audience for a ‘Dancing With The Stars’ episode.

So if Kelly Monaco does come back to General Hospital, that would be the surprise of the year. And there’s also no doubt that GH fans wouldn’t complain about this return, either.
