GH Laura Wright Hints At ‘Who Shot Drew’ Twist – The New J.R. Ewing Revealed?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest Laura Wright (Carly Spencer) might’ve hinted at a “Who shot Drew” twist. Has the new J.R. Ewing been revealed thanks to Wright’s kind words for Cameron Mathison (Drew Cain) on social media?

Drew has been sinking lower than ever lately, but it’s giving viewers something to talk about! It’s safe to say Drew’s become one of the most loathed characters on the show, but he’s bringing some juicy GH drama.

Drew and Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) latest showdown was definitely worth tuning in for. Laura Wright was impressed, so she chimed in with some praise for Cameron Mathison’s performance in an Instagram story.

“These scenes were so good!!!! Cameron you’re the new JR Ewing !!! Haaa. Woo hooo,” Wright said.

For months, Dallas viewers were left to wonder who had actually pulled the trigger after that epic cliffhanger. To this day, it’s one of the most famous whodunits of all time.

That’s why it’s so intriguing to see Laura Wright drop a J.R. hint like this. It makes it seem like maybe Drew’s storyline could be headed in the same direction – one that leaves fans and all of Port Charles asking, “Who shot Drew?”

There may be a reason why Drew’s making so many enemies and finding new ways to rile them up. Perhaps it’s so the suspect list will be a mile long when someone pulls a gun on Drew and uses it for revenge.

Of course, that doesn’t necessarily mean Drew will face a grim fate. J.R. survived his whodunit, so Drew could do the same if GH wants to keep Mathison around.
