General Hospital Fans Devastated Over The Loss Of This Character

Per the latest reports, actor Jonathan Jackson has announced that he is leaving General Hospital.

It feels like it was just a hot minute ago that he arrived back in town to reprise his role as Lucky. Fans were incredibly excited about his reunion with Liz just for it to end this quickly. This has prompted a lot of fans of the show to ask: what gives?

So far the producers of the soap have not made any comments about the matter.

Some have even taken to social media to write comments such as, “I’m so depressed right now. I haven’t seen todays episode yet but I saw this article and I’m just so confused. Why do they keep bringing him back if he’s just going to leave every time.”

“I was really loving him and Elizabeth together and I can’t believe they’re writing Lucky this way.”

Why Is Lucky Leaving Again?

Another fan of the show wrote, “I thought he said he signed on for 2 years? He was excited to explore a new story with Liz, he said that himself on Instagram. What happened (and is this definitive)?”

And then there was this comment as well: “What a shame. What a wasted return. I mean, how much time has he spent with his kids after being gone all those years? And now he’s going again?”

“Please don’t ever let him steal a job or an actor budget from someone who actually wants to do the show ever again.”

But whether or not Jonathan changes his mind and decides to stay in Port Charles remains to be seen.
