General Hospital (GH) news reveals that Kimberly McCullough grew up before fans’ eyes when she was cast in the role of Robin Scorpio. We’re talking an almost four-decade presence onscreen, debuting in 1985 and last airing in 2021.
One of Robin’s most memorable storylines involved her boyfriend Stone Cates (Michael Sutton) who died of AIDS after infecting Robin with HIV. Robin also had a memorable run-in with Casey the Alien, a quirky daytime plot.
Kimberly McCullough Looks Back
Kimberly McCullough recently shared a throwback pic of her with Steve Burton who plays Jason Morgan on the ABC show. She captioned it: “It’s funny, so many years later, how I can look at a photo of us when we were babies, and my nostalgic heart is instantly filled with fun memories.”
Fans hope to see McCullough drop in to PC for a visit, and Robin has a very good reason to: her headstrong daughter! Emma Scorpio Drake (Braedyn Bruner) is in town and presenting a major headache to her grandmother, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).

Kimberly McCullough Grew Up on GH
Anna could use all the help she can get reining in wayward Emma. Emma is involved in a front burner plot and the character was SORAS’d for the storyline.
Emma is hard at work trying to crack whatever it is that Professor Dalton (Daniel Goddard) is doing in his university lab.
We know that he is involved in some way with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) who is back from the dead in a smashing storyline that dovetails with Dalton’s research.
Speaking of Burton, his character is on a mission to find and save Britt. Would Robin approve? She surely will if he happens to keep Emma from danger.
What Happens Next in Port Charles, New York?
It appears that Emma inherited Anna’s passion for crime solving, and grandma is worried sick that Emma could get caught up in a messy criminal plot.
Tell us GH fans, what is your favorite Robin Scorpio Drake storyline? Do you think that Robin should come back and deal with her daughter, or is Anna better suited to manage Emma?
