It looks like they are still going as strong as ever before, and that’s regardless of who is in the cast or who is even in the storylines for that matter.

General Hospital Proves Sam McCall Conspiracists Wrong

Clearly, we are talking about everyone’s favorite ABC soap, General Hospital. It was rumored about a year ago that the soap would hit a ratings slumps all because of one reason: the writers decided to kill off Sam McCall.

That’s because the character was played by actress Kelly Monaco, who was ultimately let go from the soap. To this very day no one knows the reason why Kelly has been fired and she certainly hasn’t said anything about it, either.

During the time that Kelly was fired from General Hospital, a lot of her fans began a protest and even threatened to boycott the show altogether unless she was brought back on.

Well, that clearly never happened and until this day, General Hospital hasn’t really seen a huge slump in their ratings. So those who thought that the long-running daytime television show would suffer without Sam McCall on the small screen were clearly mistaken.

Now, as far as whether or not Sam McCall will ever come back to Port Charles remains to be seen. By now it’s safe to say that Kelly Monaco won’t be returning to the show, which can only mean that Sam would have to be recast by another actress.

Is Sam McCall Ever Coming Back?

And if that does happen, there’s no doubt that Kelly’s fans are going to have a thing or two to say about the matter as well.

After all, Sam McCall is a legacy character and a lot of people believe that her story is not over yet, even though it seems like her life already is.

It goes without saying that General Hospital fans will simply have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next.
