Expert Blasts Meghan Markle For Torching Royal Family In Favor Of Bland Cooking Show

Meghan Markle is definitely not collecting any flowers following the release of the second season of her cooking show, ‘With Love, Meghan.’ Popular US publications have simply torched the series, saying that it’s uninspiring and simply unentertaining – or to put it more simply, boring. Variety wrote, and I quote, “’With Love, Meghan’ is a Montecito Ego Trip Not Worth Taking.”

On the other side of the ocean, the Brits are not taking to it at all. The big question on everyone’s mind remains; why is the show so bland?

If rumors are to be believed, the show fell off the top 100 shows on Netflix within four days of its launch. Now that’s pretty unimpressive for someone with the platform that she has.

Meghan Markle’s Netflix Series Was Not Worth Destroying Relationship With Royals

Meghan Markle is back, and I’d like to say better here, but fans and critics would likely strongly disagree with me.

Even though we get tidbits into her life with “H” and another earful as to why her time with the Royal Family was simply the worst, there wasn’t much to excite the mind as we work our way down the second season of what was promised to us as a fun and entertaining series.

This has prompted news commentator Samara Gill to question whether the D-rate shows were worth torching the Royal Family over.

“She would be fine if there wasn’t the sort of destruction that had come in the past five years towards the Royal Family, and towards a lot of other people along the way. I feel like it’s like… is this all there is?” Gill wondered on The Sun’s Royal Exclusive Show.

“Is this what that entire fight for freedom was about? If it all amounts to this bland cooking show and her prancing through a Montecito orchard in linens? It’s sort of anticlimactic to be honest and it’s kind of a bit sad in my opinion. It should have been more genuinely.”

She concluded: “Even looking at past Tig blog reviews and things like that she had so much more spirit and so much more to offer. Now it’s just very manufactured.”

Meghan returned to the kitchen this season of the show with some very famous faces like Chrissy Teigen joining her, while hubby Prince Harry sat the entire thing out. However, his presence was not entirely lacking, as we even got to learn the adorable present Meghan got him for his 40th birthday. Psst, it’s a baseball cap that says PH40.
