90 Day Fiancé alum Eric Rosenbrook was arrested on Saturday in Adams County, Wisconsin, on charges of domestic battery and domestic disorderly conduct, according to police records. Read on for more details.
The Arrest
The arrest occurred just before 3 a.m. on July 5. Rosenbrook, 47, is currently being held at the Adams County Jail. The arrest follows allegations made by his wife, Leida Margaretha, who shared videos on Instagram detailing the alleged incident.
In the clips, Starcasm noted that Leida said Eric had been drinking and requested to hold their baby. She refused, and things quickly escalated. “He slapped me hard. He was yelling at me,” she said. “His face was so red… because of that, he get agitated. He slapped me again.”
Leida also recorded Eric unconscious behind the wheel of her car. She banged on the window but received no response, later alleging he had “stolen my car.”
History Of Problems
This isn’t the first time the couple’s toxic relationship has led to legal trouble. In January, Leida was arrested for allegedly using a weapon and mistreating a dog. She was six months pregnant at the time. She also faced a string of accusations of misusing finances at work.
Court records show the case involved “domestic disorderly conduct while armed” and cruelty charges. Meanwhile, Leida has been open about past abuse, and she claimed: “Eric “physically abused me.”
Fewer Charges Than Accusations
Eric was charged with domestic battery and domestic disorderly conduct. Although Leida shared video of him passed out behind the wheel, no drug or DUI charges have been filed at this time. She also accused him of taking her car without permission, but there’s no formal charge related to auto theft.
According to Leida, police offered her a no-contact order, but she requested that any communication instead be handled through documented email. Eric remains in custody, but bail status isn’t clear. The pair is expected to appear in Adams County Court soon.
