Eastenders Spoilers Weekly Update: Sonia’s Shocking Visitor, Avani Tormented, Nicola’s Shocked, Jean’s Worry

EastEnders spoilers and updates for the week of April 14 tease shocking visitors, a young girl’s torment, someone’s shocked and someone’s worried.

Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy) gets a shocking visitor, Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James) is tormented and Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) worries.

Sonia’s Shocking Visitor

Sonia is gearing up for a significant change next week, but her plans are abruptly interrupted by an unexpected visit from a mysterious stranger.

Mo Harris (Laila Morse) and Kim Fox (Tameka Empson) find themselves on the receiving end of Sonia’s anger when they bring a group of true-crime enthusiasts to her doorstep.

Frustrated, Sonia vents to Bex Fowler (Jasmine Armfield) about the surge of interest sparked by Bianca Jackson’s (Patsy Palmer) interview, unaware that one of the tour participants is observing her home.

After being kicked out of Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) and Alfie Moon’s (Shane Richie) flat, Bianca confronts Sonia, but Sonia insists that her sister leave.

Bex encourages her mother to be compassionate, and when Sonia comes to Bex’s aid after she experiences a panic attack due to the ‘fans’, mother and daughter reconcile.

Sonia And Bex Go Out For A Drink

The duo heads to Harry’s Barn for a drink, but Bianca becomes concerned when she thinks a fan is watching them too closely.

At the playground, the man’s identity is uncovered, and despite Bianca’s protests, he goes to see Sonia-she’s left in shock as a hidden truth emerges, and Bianca attempts to be there for her.

But who is the stranger at her door; Bianca and Bex decide to give Sonia some time alone, while B updates their uncle Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) about what’s happening.

Jack shares some advice with Sonia, who then contemplates a significant decision-however, she struggles with the idea of leaving Walford.

Meanwhile, Bianca seeks comfort from Kat and Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier), while Sonia checks in on a troubled Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner).

Lily Spirals

Meanwhile, teenagers Avani and Lily Slater (Lillia Turner) find themselves in a downward spiral.

With Stacey overwhelmed by grief for Martin Fowler (James Bye), Jean is left to manage her granddaughter Lily, which proves challenging for her. Lily smokes weed with Avani but resorts to sneaky tactics when Avani asks for payment.

Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman) encourages Jean to reconcile with Lily, but they soon discover a shocking revelation; Bex is appalled by Lily’s behavior, yet Lily eventually returns home to confront the consequences.

Avani And Lily Continue To Spiral

Jean is shocked, prompting Lily to run away again; Jean attempts to find her, and when Lily comes back, she faces Jean’s reprimand. However, Jean softens when Lily breaks down and confesses her mistakes-what does Lily reveal?

In the meantime, Avani turns down Amy Mitchell’s (Ellie Dadd) effort to reconcile, but they eventually resolve their issues.

Meanwhile, Avani’s mother, Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy), commends her, not realizing that Avani is purchasing more weed from dealer Declan (Alfie Cain) before going to a party at Amy’s.

Avani Is Tormented

After talking with Amy, Avani feels remorse and decides to throw away the drugs. When Declan shows up at the party, Avani falsely claims he is her friend, but later confides in Amy, hoping she will contact their dad, Jack.

Priya and Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) are concerned about Avani and urge Jack to take further action regarding their police complaint about Avani’s strip search incident.

Priya encourages Avani to file a formal complaint, but Avani refuses and leaves in anger. She attempts to avoid Priya, but while seeking comfort at the launderette, Yolande Trueman (Angela Wynter) tries to convince Avani to share her feelings; can Yolande assist Avani?

Nicola’s Shocked

Zack Hudson (James Farrar) takes advantage of a chance and offers to coach his secret son, Barney Mitchell (Lewis Bridgeman); Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian), unaware of the situation, agrees to Zack’s proposal.

As Zack and Barney go for a run, Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington) returns from her vacation and is taken aback to discover that Zack has been training her son.

When she sees them by a car, Nicola warns Zack to keep his distance from Barney, but he disregards her warning.

In response, Nicola recruits Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall) and Joel Marshall (Max Murray) to disrupt Barney during his training.

Thinking Zack is to blame, Barney runs away, prompting a shocked Zack to chase after him-can Zack resist revealing the truth about the teenager’s parentage?

Jean’s Worry

Jean begins to observe the signs of Nigel Bates’s (Paul Bradley) illness when his dementia causes him to mistake the pharmacy for the former video shop where he was employed.

With compassion, Jean offers her assistance and takes Nigel back to his home, where Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) steps in to shield Nigel from revealing his secret illness. Despite Phil’s efforts, Jean remains skeptical.

Later, she tries to connect with Nigel, but he remains tight-lipped about his condition, brushing off her worries. Will Jean uncover the truth behind Nigel’s struggle?
