Upon her return to Albert Square, Sam’s first stop is her brother Phil Mitchell’s (Steve McFadden) safe, where she plans to take more of his cash!

Nigel Bates (Paul Bradley) catches her in the act but allows her to take the money, mistakenly believing she is his adoptive daughter, Clare Bates (Gemma Bissix).

As she leaves, she unexpectedly runs into Zoe Slater’s (Michelle Ryan) line of fire, leading to a confrontation when Sam is accused of being her tormentor.

Sam Reveals Her Cancer Fears

Phil soon discovers that his money is gone, and after hearing Nige’s description of the thief, he rushes to Harry’s Barn to confront Nicola Mitchell.

However, he quickly realizes he has made a mistake when he overhears Sam arguing with Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace).

She manages to slip away before he can reach her and heads to McKlunky’s for a burger with her estranged son, Ricky Branning (Frankie Day).

Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) sees them together, and as she tries to leave, he intervenes, prompting her to share her health concerns. Sam reveals that she has found a lump and fears it may be cancerous.

Jack and Denise find out she missed her appointment, and they intervene- Phil, Julie, and Ricky are furious with Sam for her decisions;  what has she done now, and what about her health?

Nicola Comes Clean To George

Harry Mitchell still relies on drugs and asks his mom, Nicola, for money to buy them; she refuses and also keeps quiet about Teddy’s trial. George makes a mistake when he checks on Harry and accidentally reveals that his dad plans to plead guilty.

On Teddy’s trial day, Gina Knight (Francesca Henry) and George team up to find him, ignoring Nicola’s advice and telling him to support his dad in court. The family is shocked by the verdict.

Things worsen when Barney Mitchell (Lewis Bridgeman) decides to live with his biological father, Zack Hudson (James Farrar), and Harry has another overdose.

Fortunately, he’s found, and Nicola takes charge before the paramedics arrive; will the family ever heal from their recent struggles?

Kim Finds Herself In A Precarious Situation

As the evening progresses and she indulges in a few too many, she makes a rather impulsive decision to donate her car for Yolande Trueman’s (Angela Wynter) Christmas raffle.

The very next day, however, the weight of her choice begins to settle in… but could this truly signal the end of the road for Kim and Howie?

Lily Worries About Her Grandma Jean

Jean Slater has chosen to organize the Branning family dinner at No. 31. Yet, her granddaughter Lily is rightly worried about Jean’s well-being, particularly as the evening unfolds and events begin to spiral out of control.
