Their uncle, Jack Branning (Scott Maslen), returns from his trip and reconnects with Oscar, but the young man is determined to persuade Lauren to let him stay, using some emotional manipulation.

Peter Beale (Thomas Law) and Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) ask questions, while Lauren gives in and agrees that Oscar can stay for a while if he behaves.

However, Oscar gets a message that suggests he might be more trouble than he is worth. He makes an impression on the locals, while Jack uncovers more about Oscar’s troubled relationship with his parents, Tanya Branning (Jo Joyner) and Max Branning (Jake Wood).

Oscar’s Mayhem

Oscar plans to trick Ian by pretending to fall at the chippie and asking for money, which makes Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) laugh.

However, there are repercussions when the social worker sees the incident-Oscar creates more trouble during the week, and Lauren asks Jack for advice.

Lauren then gives Oscar a trial shift at the fruit and veg stall, insisting this is his opportunity to change his life.

Although Oscar is doubtful, cousin Penny Branning (Kitty Castledine) convinces him to try it out, but the market vendors doubt he will succeed.

Yet, when Oscar learns that his baby nephew Jimmy Beale (uncredited) is blind, he shows he can be serious and commits to the job-will the community accept him?

Julie Bates Arrives

As Nigel Bates’s (Paul Bradley) dementia gets worse, his estranged wife Julie comes back into the picture; he’s emotional when Lexi Pearce (Isabella Brown) shows him a photo from his wedding.

Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick) is surprised to learn the true reason Nigel lost contact with Julie – it was to shield her from his illness.

Phil tells Jay to leave it alone, but Jay talks to Callum Highway (Tony Clay) and Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) and decides to look for Julie online.

Jay discovers that Julie is desperately searching for Nigel, but after Phil prevents Jay from informing Nigel, Jay calls Julie, and she quickly arrives with questions about Nigel’s situation.

Jay updates her on Nigel’s health, but later, a confused Nigel does not recognize her; Phil and Julie have a disagreement, which leads to an angry reaction from Nigel.

Phil Shows Julie A Video

When Phil presents Julie with a video made by Nigel explaining his reasons for leaving her, Julie declares that she will be going back to Scotland with Nigel. Phil is displeased with this decision, and Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) attempts to back him up.

At the same time, Jay informs Julie about the relationship between Nigel and Phil, revealing more about their recent history.

However, when another argument erupts between Phil and Julie, Nigel pleads with them to cease and quickly exits. Is Nigel going to leave with Julie, or will they be convinced to stay in Walford?

Phil’s Discovery

Callum faces problems when his father-in-law Phil finds out he has been with Johnny Carter (Charlie Suff); Callum feels jealousy upon learning that Johnny had a one-night fling after they split.

However, they quickly find themselves back together, until Callum’s secret is revealed by the worst person possible.

While Linda takes Phil upstairs for a conversation at The Vic, Phil catches Callum and Johnny in a compromising position and loses his temper, grabbing Johnny.

Callum, Jay, and Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) have to scream at Phil to prevent him from getting violent; Callum pleads with Phil not to inform Lexi and Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden).

This plea falls flat, and when Callum and Jay attempt to talk to Phil again, a heated argument breaks out, deepening the family rift; will Callum’s marriage to Ben end?

Ravi Puts On The Pressure

Meanwhile, Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway) is in debt to Ravi, who provides him with drugs to sell, reminding him of what he owes. After a tense day, Harry argues with his father Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian) and decides to leave home.

Kojo Asare (Dayo Koleosho) offers Harry a place to stay, but Kojo’s brother George Knight (Colin Salmon) expresses his concerns about the situation. As the week goes on, Ravi stops by The Arches to collect money and talk about their next shady job.

When Ravi proposes that they can easily trick Kojo and use his apartment whenever they want, Harry feels uneasy-will Harry find a way to escape this predicament?

The Queen Vic Is Auctioned

Additionally, with The Queen Victoria pub about to be sold, several characters will enter the competition; Linda informs Kat that she plans to auction The Vic.

Ian quickly tells his mother Kathy Cotton (Gillian Taylforth) and her partner Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman) that it’s time to restore the Beale empire, beginning with bidding on the pub!

As Ian boasts to Kat and Stacey, Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) worries about losing her cleaning job if the Beales take control, prompting Kat and Stacey to devise a strategy.

When Stacey discloses that she has won £100k on a scratchcard and intends to bid for the pub as well, Ian becomes enraged. However, when Stacey spots a man outside and fears he is a bailiff, she discovers he is actually from an insurance company; what will happen next?
