Eastenders Spoilers Weekly Update: Avani’s Secret Abortion, Joel’s Accusations, Elaine’s Attack

EastEnders spoilers and updates for the week of August 11 tease Avana Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James) has a secret abortion, and Joel Marshall (Max Murray) slings accusations.

Also, Elaine Knight (Harriet Thorpe) is attacked, Patrick Trueman (Rudolph Walker) struggles with anxiety, and Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton) gets career news.

Avani’s Secret Abortion

New problems arise for ‘Sukeve’ when Eve Panesar-Unwin (Heather Peace) secretly meets with pregnant Avani, behind the back of her wife Suki Unwin-Panesar (Balvinder Sopal).

Avani, who is dealing with morning sickness, has not yet told her parents, Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy) and Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara), about her pregnancy.

Eve attempts to convince Suki to inform them, while Avani feels awkward at Amy Mitchell’s (Ellie Dadd) party and is spotted by Suki and Eve just as she reaches for a drink.

An argument ensues, prompting Avani to run away, and Eve finds her to have a serious conversation about the teen’s real emotions.

Eve decides to support Avani’s choice to terminate the pregnancy, abandoning the earlier plan for her and Suki to raise the child.

Avani Has The Abortion Behind Suki’s Back With Eve’s Help

Suki feels uneasy when Eve and Avani make excuses to leave together, not knowing they are heading to the clinic.

Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) persuades Suki to be truthful with Priya and Ravi, but the couple expresses their anger towards Suki as the consequences of Avani’s termination affect the family.

What will happen to Suki and Eve’s marriage after all the deceit; soon, Joel, who is the father of Avani’s baby, discovers the truth and is upset that he wasn’t informed.

He confronts Avani, while Priya tries to keep Ravi calm as Joel attempts to provoke him-later, Joel scolds Avani, and Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig) intervenes to take him home.

Vicki gives Joel a stern talking-to, but is taken aback by his reaction, and there’s more drama involving Joel coming up next week.

Joel’s Accusations

Stacey is eagerly getting ready for Lily Slater’s (Lillia Turner) comeback, but then she finds out that her SecretCam photos and videos have been shared online.

She suspects Joel is responsible and rushes to confront him. Ross Marshall (Alex Walkinshaw) steps in, and Joel successfully persuades his dad that he is not at fault.

However, Stacey reports Joel to the police, even though he feels sure he will be exonerated. Soon, Stacey gets updates about the investigation, but will Joel be found guilty?

George Is Suspicious Of Okie

Elaine faces an attack while she attempts to assist Kojo Asare (Dayo Koleosho)! Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway) tries to intervene quietly as Okie (Aayan Ibikunle Shoderu) and Ravi conduct their illegal operations in Kojo’s flat.

After being cautioned about tax troubles, Ravi insists that Harry and Okie need to raise their efforts. George Knight (Colin Salmon) is worried that Kojo’s ‘new friend’ Okie has given him a pricey watch.

George is eager to avoid getting involved, and he appreciates Elaine’s offer to investigate the matter.

Elaine’s Attacked

When Kojo is visited at The Arches, he finds himself surrounded by a group of intimidating guys who push Elaine to the ground. Okie arrives and drives the gang away, and George and Harry hear all about his bravery.

Kojo gives Okie a key to his apartment, not realizing that Okie is already using it for his own purposes.

While Harry is on a date with Gina Knight (Francesca Henry), Elaine and Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) learn that George has a new girlfriend – Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington).

But will George and Harry’s new relationships with each other’s family members prevent them from noticing how Kojo is being exploited?

Patrick’s Anxiety, Honey And Zack’s Career News

Patrick comes back home from the hospital, but he is dealing with anxiety; after being attacked by troubled teen Oscar Branning (Pierre Moullier), Patrick is unaware of the boy’s guilt.

At the same time, Howie Danes (Delroy Atkinson) feels terrible when he realizes how frightened Patrick is while trying to heal; can anyone assist Patrick, and will Oscar’s wrongdoing be revealed?

Meanwhile, Honey is getting ready to apply for Mr Lister’s (Nick Wilton) position. Mr Lister is Honey’s employer, and by the end of the week, she receives some updates about the situation; has her new endeavor been successful? Zack Hudson (James Farrar) also gets some job news – is it positive or negative?
