Eastenders Spoilers Weekly Update: Anthony Returns, Alfie’s Bombshell, Harry’s Panic & Julie’s Surprise

EastEnders spoilers and updates for the week of August 25 tease Anthony Trueman (Nicholas Bailey) returns, while Alfie Moon’s (Shane Richie drops a bombshell! Plus, Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway) panics, Johnny Carter (Charlie Suff) helps, and Julie Bates (Karen Henthorn) has a surprise.
Anthony Returns
Anthony returns to Walford next week, and he is enraged when Oscar Branning (Pierre Moullier) admits to attacking Anthony’s father, Patrick Trueman (Rudolph Walker).
Anthony shows up early to surprise Patrick before his wedding to Yolande Trueman (Angela Wynter), only to find out that his dad has been hurt in a recent robbery. New images also reveal Anthony confronting his ex, Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace).
On the same day, Oscar goes to see Patrick and confesses to being the one who attacked him, which causes Patrick to have a panic attack.
Chaos ensues when the family learns what has happened, and Anthony insists that Oscar should be reported to the police.
Jack Branning Advises This Should Be Patrick’s Decision
However, Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) believes that this should be a choice made by Patrick. Peter Beale (Thomas Law) presses Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa) for answers when he discovers that she has been protecting her brother.
Later, Lauren instructs Howie Danes (Delroy Atkinson) to resolve the issue or she will reveal his blackmail of her and Oscar-yet, Anthony continues to obstruct Howie’s attempts to talk to Patrick.
At the police station, Oscar fears he will return to prison, while Yolande is anxious about Patrick. A temporary agreement is made with Howie, but have his actions come to light, and what will happen to Oscar?
Lily’s Shocking Discovery
Alfie is ready to tell his wife Kat about her missing daughter, Zoe Slater (Michelle Ryan)! When Ross Marshall (Alex Walkinshaw) stops Joel from seeing his toxic favorite influencer, Joel promises to find the money for tickets.
Meanwhile, Lily Slater (Lillia Turner) discovers a fake profile created by Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall) that is ‘liking’ harmful posts about Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner).
Kat and Alfie confront Tommy, and his reaction worries them more about Joel Marshall’s (Max Murray) influence; Joel gets a job erasing phones for Harry and brings Tommy in to assist.
But when Tommy spots Kat’s phone among the stolen devices, he listens to Alfie’s voicemail and hears his confession about Zoe.
Alfie’s Bombshell
Kat wants to show tough love to Tommy, while Alfie insists on dealing with it himself, but he is rattled when Tommy reveals what he knows.
Alfie persuades Stacey to talk Tommy out of telling Kat, and things get more complicated when Joel makes offensive remarks to Lily and Amy Mitchell (Ellie Dadd), prompting them to confront him.
Tommy is taken aback when Joel loses control, leading Kat to send him home. At The Queen Vic, a major fight erupts between Tommy and Kat, and while she is still processing this, Alfie reveals shocking news.
Meanwhile, Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) threatens Joel regarding the stolen phones, and Ross and Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig) are appalled by Joel’s behavior towards Amy, causing tensions to escalate again.
Harry’s Panic Over A Missing Gun
Harry, Gina Knight (Francesca Henry) and Anna Knight (Molly Rainford) are preparing to attend a carnival with Kojo Asare (Dayo Koleosho).
However, Okie Okyere (Aayan Ibikunle Shoderu) continues to pressure Harry, forcing him to let Okie and his group use Kojo’s flat for drug storage.
Harry becomes paranoid about Kojo’s brother George Knight (Colin Salmon), while the unaware Gina attempts to be romantic with Harry, feeling frustrated when he rejects her advances once more.
Then, Ravi catches Okie showing Harry a gun and insists that Harry dispose of it; George arrives just as Harry is figuring out what to do with the gun.
But George is only interested in whether Harry is playing with Gina’s feelings-later, Harry decides to bury the gun, but Ravi criticizes this poor decision; Harry panics when it goes missing.
Johnny Helps
Callum Highway (Tony Clay) is becoming increasingly close to Johnny. Callum feels delighted to see Johnny return home early from the cruise, yet he experiences jealousy when he spots Johnny on a date at The Albert.
The next day, Johnny assists Callum in handling a sensitive issue involving Callum’s stepdaughter Lexi Pearce (Isabella Brown). What is truly happening with Lexi, and why does Johnny intervene?
Additionally, with Callum’s husband Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) expected to make a short return in the upcoming weeks, is it just a matter of time before he uncovers the affair?
Julie’s Surprise
Despite clashes with Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) and arguments with her husband, Julie has decided to hang around Walford to support her husband as long as she has him.
She has a delightful surprise planned for Nigel Bates (Paul Bradley), who is first filled with suspicion when his wife Julie answers a phone call that makes her appear uneasy.
However, when Julie later astonishes Nigel by delivering his cherished car to Walford, it seems the enigma has been unraveled. What will Nigel’s response be?
