DOOL Spoilers: The DiMeras Make A Bone-Chilling Discovery, Have Abigail’s Remains Been Found?

Days of Our Lives spoilers and  updates tease the DiMera captives will make a bone-chilling discovery while trapped in the DiMera mausoleum.

After Theo Carver (Joseph Tyler Andrews) is kidnapped and “arrives” in the mausoleum, where Tony DiMera, (Thaao Penghlis) Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) already are, a skeleton’s unearthed!

The DiMera Captives Are Likely Trying To Dig Their Way Out

Kristen had already started trying to chip away at what she thought may be an opening under the mausoleum leading to a tunnel; the DiMera property is full of underground tunnels.

One leads into the living room, via a secret door, and it runs under the cemetery where a head is moved on a statue, opening the door into the mansion. She managed to hurt her hand in the process.

But once Theo is pushed unconscious into the mausoleum like the rest were, it makes sense to keep trying to open what may be a passageway to their freedom.

There is nothing on the raised concrete plate on the floor to indicate anyone is buried beneath it, so they’re all shocked when they find bones when they finally get it open!

Whose Bones Are These, Were Laid To Rest, While Abigail’s Have Been Missing?

An Instagram video recently released on the official DOOL account shows Theo confused as he’s holding what appears to be a rib bone-although the skeleton may be complete, it’s all in pieces.

Eventually, the captives are discovered and released, and the bones are analyzed-the promo shows that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) announces a positive match!

Back when Clyde Weston (James Read) had blackmailed Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) into impersonating Abigail DiMera, (Marci Miller) Abigail’s remains were not in her grave!

It only made sense that Clyde must have somehow dug up the grave and moved her—but they never knew where, and he’s in an indeterminate coma.

Could The Bones In The DiMera Mausoleum Be Abigail’s?

We must consider if the bones in the DiMera mausoleum could be Abigail’s, considering it’s not far from the cemetery where she was originally buried.

It’s a mystery how Clyde could have gained access to the mausoleum to “transplant” Abigail there, let alone have dug up an area in the cement floor and covered her.  

Not only would  he have had to get her transported into the mausoleum, he’d have had to have cement breaking tools, a shovel, a trowel, and a bag of quick drying cement!

And, he’d have had to do all this in the middle of the night, so as not to have been observed. Now the question is, if the bones aren’t identified as Abigail’s, then whose are they, and where is she?
