Andrew And Paul Are Getting Married
In spite of, or perhaps because of Paul Narita’s (Christopher Sean) father’s death, Andrew decided this was the time to propose marriage, and Paul accepted. Now there will be a wedding planned, and most certainly certain family members will be expected to be there.
Paul may have wanted John to be a best man, but obviously that cannot happen now-more than likely, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will step up in John’s place.
But what about Andrew’s father Shane, and his mother Kimberly Donovan (Patsy Pease) and sister Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien)?
It was plainly stated in recent dialogue that Kimberly once again had conquered cancer, although she and Theresa didn’t make it for John’s funeral.
Fans Have Complained At No Shane With Andrew Scenes On Social Media
DOOL fans have complained at no Shane with Andrew scenes during the past week when the focus was on honoring John’s life and death and his funeral, when there were chances.
It’s possible that there were some behind the scenes reasons, such as Charles and Colton not being available at the same time when the scenes were filmed-their schedules clashing.
It’s easy to think that soaps, and other programs for that matter, are filmed as viewers see the finished product, but that’s not how the process goes.
It’s much more like a jigsaw puzzle where the puzzle pieces are the individual scenes and the completed puzzle is the show.
That’s also the reason that actors can’t always share exactly what’s going to happen ahead in their storylines, although they can sometimes tease bits and pieces.
The Wedding Is Ahead-But Perhaps Still Down The Road A Bit
As far as what’s going to happen on DOOL, the show doesn’t give spoilers very far ahead-sometimes a couple of weeks, but mostly current week a couple days before it starts.
We know that Andrew and Paul’s wedding is planned, but we don’t currently have information as to when it will air. It could still be down the road a bit, with other things playing out first before the show circles back around to it.
That means that perhaps when it does happen, there will be more Donovan family time included, and Shane might be part of it. For that matter, perhaps by that time Kimberly and Theresa and other Donovan family members will all show up!
