DOOL Spoilers: Gwen And Vivian’s Potential Alliance – What Stefan’s Shocking Twist Means For Salem!

Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) has returned to Salem and is up to mischief. We’re curious if she’s collaborating with Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) and whether a significant twist involving Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) is on the horizon, as well.

Divorce, Diamonds, And Dimitri Drama

On Monday, July 7, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) was shocked to find Gwen at the Horton house door, and Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) was even more surprised.

Especially when she saw Gwen wearing the Horton family heirloom diamonds; Gwen had previously left town as the rejected Mrs. Dimitri von Leuschner DiMera (Peter Porte).

It seems Gwen divorced him and took a significant amount of Dimitri’s money in the process, despite her claim that they are still legally married in the episode airing on July 9.

The last time we saw Gwen, she was boarding a jet to Alamania for a gold digging adventure in October 2023.

Leo Stark’s (Greg Rikaart) former best friend left Salem heartbroken because Gwen’s attractive husband Dimitri had been secretly involved with her best friend Leo even during their honeymoon.

The Cheater Cheated On Leo As Well

Then cheater Dimitri cheated on Leo too; they say how you meet someone is how you lose them. Now, Dimitri has found another guy he met in prison and wrote Leo a letter saying thank you, next.

Leo has moved on with Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon), and Gwen went to Alamania for a bit, looking like she returned as a wealthy woman. When she left, she wanted nothing to do with Leo or Dimitri.

However, Gwen did take a blank check from her husband’s checkbook, and Dimitri got arrested for attempting to kill Stefan and Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez).

Are Gwen And Vivian Conspiring Together?

Gwen left Salem to pursue Dimitri’s inheritance from his family; remember, the marriage was just a step for him to fully inherit.

Apparently, Gwen has been in Alamania all this time, and that’s where things get really interesting-do you know who else is there? Vivian Alamain, because that’s her family’s territory, and her son Stefan is there too.

If you remember, Vivian had Ivan Marais (Ivan G’Vera) put Stefan DiMera in a car trunk and then had him taken back to Alamania to lay low.

Stefan’s mom signed the divorce papers and sent them to Gabi, breaking her heart-so the big question is whether Gwen has been working with Vivian.

A Leak Teased Gwen And Vivian Were Conspiring, And EJ DiMera’s In On It Too

Some time ago, a leak teased that Gwen would be making a comeback and was scheming with Vivian against the Kiriakis family. Gwen would primarily take the lead in this plot since Louise Sorel had limited filming availability.

This was quite a few months ago, since DOOL films nine or ten months in advance. This leaked information from months back aligns with details from the summer and fall promotions, as well as what we are observing this week.

It appears that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) is working with Gwen, and this could be part of an anti-Kiriakis scheme.

Gwen’s Still Got The Hots For Xander Kiriakis

It’s clear that she still has feelings for Xander Cook (Paul Telfer), who is currently separated from Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey).

Additionally, Vivian holds a grudge against the Kiriakis family because Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) took half of Xander’s inheritance with a forged document that Vivian created.

To make matters worse, Philip’s mother, Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow), exposed Vivian to the police, and Philip refused to eliminate Xander as Vivian wanted.

So, she’s feeling messy, angry, and salty—those words really fit her mood right now. In short, there’s a lot going on, and it seems quite complicated; also, it feels a bit odd that Gwen shows up in Salem at this exact time.

Kissy Face With Xander In The Horton Town Square

Gwen is also surprised when she bumps into her former best friend Leo in Horton Town Square, where he is pushing a baby stroller. To add to the drama, she’s wearing Julie’s necklace that Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) has been searching for.

Doug Williams II (Peyton Meyer) took it, Leo sold it, and Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) purchased it-then she sold it again.

And now, it’s in Gwen’s possession-this week, after teasing Julie by flaunting the Horton Diamonds, Gwen gets some private time with her attractive ex, Xander.

Gwen gives Xander a passionate kiss, but we know Sarah is the one for him, so he should reject her advances, but instead Javi and Leo spot them going into the Salem Inn!

This Is Not Helping Xander’s Case To Win Custody Of His Daughter!

Additionally, Xander is seeking full custody of Victoria, and he may come to the conclusion that getting back together with the opportunistic Gwen could harm his chances in custody court!

Other leaks suggest that Gwen will be more involved with Chad and Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord); this is intriguing since Gwen appears to be scheming with EJ.

We also know that Cat received instructions from Shane Donovan (Charles Shaughnessy) to investigate how EJ acquired the funds to purchase University Hospital, as Shane suspects the money is illicit.

Additionally, Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) is collaborating with Cat, who turns out to have been working with the ISA. Spoilers indicate that Chad DiMera discovers Cat’s connection to the ISA, and he might actually assist her in building a case against EJ.

More DiMera Drama Ahead!

One reason Chad isn’t part of the family business is due to all the shady and illegal activities happening, and Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) isn’t a fan of that either.

So, he plans to get involved soon and is scheming with Gabi. There’s even more DiMera drama; it seems like it’s a larger plot and Gwen might be trying to sabotage the ISA investigation.

Honestly, the funds for the hospital buyout could come from the Alamains or another dubious source linked to Gwen. But with Gwen in the mix, she might be safeguarding an Alamanian investment in EJ and the hospital.

The Phoenix Rises Again?

Additionally, we have scenes from the promo featuring Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) falling ill and dreaming of being Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) queen for the night.

At the promo’s conclusion, a DiMera, who appears to be Andre DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) rather than Tony, tells ‘Father’ that it’s time to wake up!

Honestly, they could even transfer Stefano’s memories into his son Stefan this time-it would take a new chip, since Chad and Tony destroyed the original one.

Remember, they did that with Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols), who was wandering around acting like Stefano with that bionic eye-they even called him Steveano.

However, Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) removed the microchip from Steve, and he returned to being Patch after Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) took out his fake eye with a well-placed spike heel!
