Did Prince Harry Try To Negotiate His Royal Return With Recent Visit?

Prior to Prince Harry’s arrival in the UK, there were reports he would be meeting up with the King and that he even has a list of demands he’s looking forward to making in the name of peace and reconciliation.

However, counter reports soon emerged to claim that Harry would not be meeting up with his dear old pa after all.

In a surprise turnaround, Harry paid King Charles a visit during his fourth day in the UK and stayed for tea for 55 minutes.

Prince Harry Could Bear Guilt If He Doesn’t Reconcile With King Prior To This Sad Thing Happening

Weighing in on the secret royal tea chats between King Charles and his youngest son, historian Hugo Vickers said it’s imperative Harry really lets go of his pride and pushes for an organic reconciliation instead.

Hugo said: “It would be in his, and everybody else’s, interests if somehow he could form some sort of personal reconciliation with his father. Because, we know even from Prince Harry’s book that his father said: ‘Don’t make my last years miserable.’ And if something happens to the King and Prince Harry has not reconciled with him, then he’s going to be bearing more sort of guilt and remorse and things.”

Harry himself has openly admitted that he would love to be reconciled with his family, especially since he doesn’t know how long his father has left.

“And he’s got enough on his plate already with the death of his mother and the things that he feels about all that,” Hugo reasoned, adding, “So in order for that to happen, he is the one who has to apologise. He is the one who has to give assurances.”

Prince Harry’s UK Visit Will Be Viewed With “Suspicion”

Prince Harry’s UK visit has been viewed through many lens, especially since he was clear on how saddened he was when he lost his security case.

However, even with this in mind, Harry has also said that he would love to visit the UK more often in the future.

As a result of this, there’s been a lot of suspicions that Harry is going to try to affix himself as a working member of the Royal Family once more.

If you can recall, he and wife Meghan famously quit their positions as senior royals in 2020 to pursue a more quiet life in America.

Hugo touched on this when he said: “I suppose the suspicion is that, if he comes over here, he is sort of almost reestablishing himself as a member of the royal family.”

A Harry source believes the Prince would love to return on a half-in half-out basis, in the same way Prince Edward and Sophie are allowed to.
