With the peace summit on everybody’s lips, one cannot help but wonder whether the long-running royal feud is about to come to a definite end. If reports are to be believed, Prince Harry is already making plans to fly back to the UK to reunite with his father.

But then one wonders why he didn’t just fly over to meet his father King Charles in the first place? Why approach these so-called peace talks through aides? We might have the answer to that.

Prince Harry Can Only Communicate With Father King Charles Through Aides For This Reason

Prince Harry is apparently bent on pursuing a path that would more or less lead to peace with his father, before the little more time the elderly monarch has on this earth expires.

However, something is stopping him from making quick and steady progress, and the thing is that palace aides don’t trust him not to leak.

Let’s be honest, even though Harry mentioned that he wanted peace with his family, he did low-key threaten to expose more news that’ll likely put the Royal Family in bad light in his May BBC interview. And let’s not forget the threat that there’s plenty more where ‘Spare’ came from.

So with the possibility that Harry could go running back into the arms of the media everytime things don’t go his way, how will reopening communications with him going to work?

Well, per a Palace insider, “No more Oprah. No more Netflix. If Harry wants to talk, it goes through aides. Period.”

This is probably why King Charles’ director of communications Tobyn Andreae and Sussex aides Meredith Maines and Liam Maguire met on behalf of the father-son duo.

The peace talks is said to have gone so smoothly, Harry now believes he can travel to the UK for a face-to-face chat with his father.

A source told the Mail on Sunday: “There’s a long road ahead, but a channel of communication is now open for the first time in years. There was no formal agenda, just casual drinks. There were things both sides wanted to talk about.”
